  1. On Facebook I posted a link to that recent story about record LOW temperatures across America. A Lefty friend of mine in Portland commented that this was because of Global Warming. She wasn’t kidding.

    It stinks to high heaven — Bob Rae’s family’s long-time friendship with Mo Strong and the fact that John Rae is an executive of the Desmarais Family’s Power Corporation, AND that former Librano PM Jean Chretien’s daughter, France, is married to Andre Desmarais, etc., etc.
    Circles within circles.
    If the CPC had connections like this, the media would have blown the cover of the rat’s nest long ago. As it is, our media have done everything they can to obliterate, first, our knowledge of Maurice Strong and Power Corporation and, second, the connection between Bob Rae, Strong, Power Corporation, the Desmarais Family, the LPC, and investments in China — not to mention connections to the United Nations.
    I point out these connections in conversation whenever I get the chance.

  7. Prorogation good for democracy? Hard to tell. Cretin The Thug used it to silence the auditor general’s from tabling her report on AdScam.
    The funny thing is the lying Cons – who didn’t make the Parliamentary Budget Officer an independent office (as they promised unequivocally, hence the lying), have no rules on how to gerrymander a muzzle on the Office.
    At least Canadians will be well served by an independent office commenting on and analyzing – without partisan bias – the actual state of finances in Canada.
