   The District of Columbia is, as it’s eponymous name implies, a District. Puerto Rico is a possession that was granted to the USA in the Spanish-American war and enjoys all the rights and freedoms that the other 50 states do.

11. There was enough govt money,for flood control,sent to New Orleans to build a dike 50ft high and NONE of it got spent on flood control.

12. South Carolina got $219,560,000 and created 146 jobs! That’s $1,503,835.61 per job! Now there’s government efficiency for ya!
    Imagine how many jobs that money could have created in the private sector.

13. What I find interesting is that, at least by Iowa’s measure, only 5% of the stimulus money has actually gotten into the hands of businesses. The rest is awarded, or promised. What if the economy turns around and only 10% of the stimulus is actually distributed? Will the Obamasiah have pulled off a miracle? 20 Trillion Dollars of Economic Recovery, at a cost of only 2 Trillion Dollars! Not seen since Jesus and his 3 fishes/5 loaves buffet for 5000 people!
