    Dear Diary, I would like to thank my mom for buying me that thesaurus in Grade 7, and I thank god I had severe acne all through high school and college and post graduate studies so I never got out and have a social life. p.s. I think that when I flex my lexicon in blogs it makes my penis look larger, I like that. Good night diary.

    Did I miss another announcement? Is it Humourless Proscriptive Pissy Mood Day? Good people, if you are not inclined toward diversion, simply scroll past those posts that are insufficiently weighty for your contentious minds on this fine Friday night.
    Nothing world-changing will be resolved here tonight, despite our most grim and assiduous efforts, and long after everyone here is dust, the affairs of state will somehow grind on without our argument and analysis. Why so relentlessly serious?
    The weekend lies before us all. Let us cast off the cares, burdens and disappointments of the week and strive for a lighter and more convivial spirit. As they say in Newfoundland, “You’re a long time dead.”
