At some point, Beck will throw out the name Wade Rathke.
He kinda danced around it on today’s show when he made the New Orleans connection between ACORN and the SEIU. Beck said both organizations had offices in the same New Orleans building.
You could google Rathke’s name and it would show you that he was not only the founder of ACORN, in which most of the money flows to him and his family. He was also the founder of SEIU Local 100 and advocates the union/community organizer model.
In the google account, it’s also mentioned he started up a Canadian group in Toronto and Vancouver (google it yourself to find out).
On the rottenacorn.com website is a lengthy document which lists the myriad of organizations that spring from the ACORN family business, a $37 million business.
What we’ve seen in the last week on the Beck show is just a teaser. I’m guessing Beck has the goods all the way up to the Rathke family.
Since ACORN is the subject of investigations in 20 states (map is also on the rottenacorn.com site), the vise if about to close on these criminals.
This is much more fascinating than Canadian politics.

I’ve known a couple of people who I would define as pathological liars in my lifetime and watching this woman talk reminds me of many of the conversations I have had with them. I suppose that the trait that seems to run through all of these people is a constant need to increase their “Status” by talking about their “Accomplishments” and friendships to strangers; a trait that most people don’t have being that most people would rather talk about the weather than themselves.
Now, there is another thing about pathological liars that is worth paying attention to. While they’re rarely telling a true story about themselves there is always elements of truth to their stories. Those politicians most likely were talking to someone at the ACORN office regularly, she very well may have prostituted herself at some point in time, and she may have had an abusive partner that she had to seek help in a woman’s shelter; but it is highly unlikely that she had any involvement with these politicians, she most certainly did not earn $15,000 per week as a prostitute, and I would bet that she probably never murdered her husband (and may never have even been married).

Assuming Acorn started out ‘wanting to help people’ is pretty much oblivious to the origins of virtually all leftist organizations. The more politically motivated and greedy they are, the more helpful their name sounds.
Don’t forget that Acorn Canada was founded by Elisabeth May, Ol’ Bucky herself.

Beck has made no secret of the fact he’s getting his stuff from biggovernment.com.
Their top story is about Wade Rathke’s pitiful defence of his criminal organization.

ACORN, BTW, suffered a loss of money in the recent past when Rathke’s brother made off with about $1 million.

Erik I am not surprised that the CBC is ignoring this. I just read an article on Yahoo Canada saying that Obama’s popularity is still ‘sky high’ in Canada. Say it aint so. Canada is my ‘escape plan’.
