  1. Saw their lips move. It may have been edited but they said what they said. Just shows how much they expect unaccountability. Saw some original ACORN’ers story about how they were trying to get the books opened. Wasn’t working too well.

    My “complaint” went this morning.
    Links to Brietbart, biggovernment, hotair, etc. The US Senate Resolution might get their attention that ACORN/COI is a threat to the Canadian tax coffers.

  17. Yeah, both of my senators are hard left. Sanders had a ‘health care poll’ on his web site to which it was impossible to answer if you didn’t support Obama’s plan.

Of course, now it has to go to the House, where Plastic Nan will fight to the last ditch to keep the measure from an actual vote, but who knows … a couple more videos and her hand may be forced. As it is, people are now referring to the no-vote Senators as the “alien child sex-slave and pimp-support voters”, which might make nice bumper stickers for their constituents back home. Of course, two of them were from Illinois, figure at least one from the Chicago area, so NOTHING’s gonna shame those guys — they might even take it as a job reference.

  24. You can almost say anything you want to about Glenn Beck good or bad.
    The fact is though he gets the job done. Does anyone think ACORN would have lost its grants if not for him & those who did some real Journalism. By investigating underground, what the MSM would not?
    He makes bringing down these sleazy corrupt buzzards, look as easy as Duck hunting.

  25. I am a little disappointed in Gillibrand. She was a conservative Democrat from a red county when she got appointed senator. Liberals were pretty mad. Now she is a leadership toady.

  26. One thing about Beck, though I agree with him a lot of the time, I can’t stand his show so I rarely watch it for more than a couple of minutes at a time. I just don’t think he has entertainer’s chops. Just like Obama governs like a lefty troll would, Beck talks like a right wing commenter. That is why you seldom hear anything on his show that you hadn’t read on the web previously.

    Kate brings to our attention what that she finds sees as important and/or overlooked. She probably spends some time doing that. I don’t have the time so I come to SDA. If I wanted essays and pontification, we’d go to your site. But we don’t. Being able to post links to current events may not be original, but finding the right ones is. Kate wins. That and the discussion here is worth reading. The commentors hear have what some call “moral fibre” (read concrete ethics, values, principles of various stripes) and trolls hate it.

  35. Mar 24th, 2009 is as far back as I could find at the Acorn Canada website. No mention of ANY names on it I could find.
    Wikipedia says May founded ACORN in Canada.

    Right you are Doug – ‘the truth sets you free’ – Glen Beck speaks from his heart and he is digging out corruption. He has blubbered on T.V. , cut up a dead fish,…He had a live chicken on his set last week; he said he was going to eat the chicken right after the show (take that PETA!!! PETA who are trying to run ranchers and farmers and oilmen out of business).
    Glen has no fear – he hit rock bottom in 2000 and he changed his life. People who have ‘seen the elephant’ seldom fear death; they fear living a life in Hell – slavery.
    Most of us could use an example such as Glen Beck – we all fear sticking our necks out to defend the right waaay too much …cowards are good slave stock.
