  1. Same reason bozos like Pelosi and Reid keep getting elected. Too many stupid poeple out there.

  2. one would think “murderous drunken scumbag” is quite an accomplishment, butt the 3rd Came-A-lot also elevated hisself down to traitor!!!!!

  3. “WaferGate” exposed.
The Liberals and its MSM copied/aped their “WaferGate” entrapment of PM Harper, while he was attending Leblanc’s funeral, from the American Democrats’ spat re Ted Kennedy’s behaviour at a Papal mass.
The template is here**. The twisted/blasphemous sisters, KMeat and Carville, used this spat as their model/plot line as they plotted the entrapment of PM Harper.
The Canadian MSM was complicit in the attempted/failed entrapment.
The Liberal/MSM entrapment of PM Harper failed.
    The American connection? James Carville*/Katmeat.
Did Kennedy eat the host or slip it into his pocket?

**”During Benedict’s 2008 trip to the U.S., there was some heated debate (with conflicting photographs and eyewitness accounts) about whether or not Kennedy took Holy Communion at the papal mass at Nationals Stadium in Washington,
with conservatives insisting that the Pope says the rite should be denied to pro-choice politicians. With this in mind, Church observers are keen to see if Boston’s Archbishop Cardinal Sean O’Malley will preside over Kennedy’s funeral.”

  4. His legacy is fondly remembered by both American media and the KGB.
I am sure that the Chicago Outfit was well represented at the services too.
I hear Dewar’s Scotch sent a huge wreath with a dancer in pasties and thong inside. She popped out after the Cardinal finished speaking and sang, “happy funeral to Ted”. And then everyone had a triple on Dewar’s.
Teddy would have loved it. Every bit of it. What a guy!
Hope nobody drove off a bridge later.

  5. Think of it this way. He’s saved us from 24/7 coverage about a dead blond named Fiore and her millionaire narcissist brat killer, Jenkins. Be thankful for small mercies.

  6. That “The Corner” article is interesting. Reminds me of what The One and Shillery are trying to do now with Honduras: Return the wannabe dictator to power and confuse the enforcement of Honduras’s constitution with a military coup.

  7. Heh. Love the censors at work:
XXXXXXX (company name) Internet use policy restricts access to this web page at this time.
La politique de XXXXXXX sur l’utilisation d’Internet limite pour le moment l’accès à cette page.
    Reason/Raison:

  8. Are they covering Kennedy? I wouldn’t know, I’m not watching/reading/listening to the noise.
Besides, its Michael Jackson’s 51st birthday. That’s much more important. Right? (Was at the store and the MJ thing flashed on the TV screen. Even when you’re trying to avoid it you can’t avoid it. Barf!)

  9. They are censoring comments critical of teddy at the CBC. To be expected from the lickspital crowd I suppose. Fire them all.

  10. I was pretty cheesed off last night when O’Reilly and Hannity were preempted for coverage of the Kennedy funeral.
I do not understand adulation of the political class. Never have. Never will.
I particularly don’t understand the fawning and adulation of a career politician who, while ostensibly capable as a legislator, could not reasonably be said to be significantly accomplished in terms of moving the U.S. electorate to the left. Further, the coverage this week keeps bleating about how Kennedy made it his life long ambition to implement some kind of universal health care in the U.S. To which I kept thinking, “Well then, the man was a miserable failure, wasn’t he?”
And, don’t even get me started over the whole Mary Jo affair.

  11. Another casualty of the media, aside from the poor, beleaguered John and Jane Public, is John McDermott, the Irish Canadian tenor who was one of the soloists who sang “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” at the Kennedy Memorial Schmooze in Boston last night.
They introduced him as “John McCormick” last night, and in a photo with him on a slide show of the funeral and memorial, he was identified as “John McDonald.”
Hey, McCormick, McDonald, McDermott … whatever …

  12. I’ve lived in Tedachusetts for 6o or so years although I’m only 39. You might blame me for Teddy as the Kennedys were royalty to me when I was young and stupid. I woke up in the late 70s…happy day!
I’ve made my penance. If you click on my name you’ll find my image of ObamaCare named SplashCare and many others that you can steal if they are worthy.

  13. How much longer?
I can’t look away and miss a second of it, but I’m getting awfully hungry.
    Thank God for Depends.

  14. All this is as sickening as the Liberal Fete de Trudeau when he passed on. The disgustingly smary CBC coverage and the adoration paid to Castro as a named pall bearer.
Made me want to puke razor blades.
Same sentiment today. All this for the man who murdered MJK.
    Disgusting.

  15. The worst part? The Kennedy love-in preempted the Little League World Series games.
Oh, and Google is in on the Michael Jackson birthday. Gag me.

  16. Its political correctness that smells like “forgiveness for freaks”.
Previously “wacko jacko” now a “craven kennedy”. Has anybody of real renown died lately? Not newsworthy I guess.

  17. Re: The extravagant funeral of Ted Kennedy.
Perhaps if some of you learned how to behave in public–they might say something nice at your funeral!!
Ps: GYM I used to work in a newspaper. Might go back–part time–just to have the pleasure of writing your obituary.

  18. This KGB connection is well known and very old…..
This is one of the reasons I figure teddy would only need 2 pallbearers…..only 2 handles on a garbage can.

  19. Yes wee can:
All good stuff there, maynard. Liked Splash Care and What is Black and White and Red All Over best. You are truly redeemed, my son.

  20. pierre et rudeO was supposed to get a mountain named for his legacy/failures(anthill). I dont see any conflict with naming an unmarked swamp(car sticking up) for Sieur AidFart.

  21. Right you are Kate – the big blubbering foghorn was so wrapped up in his own buffoon type ‘being’ that he did not have a conscience – AT ALL. He was the ‘entitled’ Teddy and any one in his way was a sordid hunk of flesh to be ground up and shoveled into oblivion if they ever dared to question anything that he said or did – the media slobber is sickening. IMO.

  22. Why did EMK keep getting elected in MA? If you look at the results for Congress (House) in Massachusetts, you will find at least a third of the districts where No Candidate Filed was running for the Republicans.
(the LLWS delay was mainly caused by rain)

  23. True to form..the cbc newsworld ‘hostess’ today (that braindead Nil Koksal)wore black for the sad occasion! After the service she presented that doltish ‘cbc cares’ look, and stated that there were few dry eyes in the studio while the sons eulogized their dear old Dad.Putrid.At that point I went to defrost the beer fridge.

  24. I’m so glad that I’ve quit watching TV news so I don’t get the aggrevation of the “objective” MSM dealing with these issues. All I can say about the demise of Ted Kennedy is good riddance. He exemplified the worst statist excesses of any senator and probably had the highest hypocracy quotient of any senator in recent memory. The only bad thing about his passing is that we’ll probably have to come up with a new bumper sticker to replace:
More people have died in Ted Kennedy’s cars than have been killed by my guns.

  25. Re: The extravagant funeral of Ted Kennedy.

What and lose your welfare benefits?

  26. O-M-G.
The last thing the (disgraced) Cardinal does at the grave is read, in its entirety, Ted Kennedy’s letter to Benedict XVI, which he had Barak Obama deliver to the Pontiff a month ago AND “parts of” Benedict XVI’s response to Ted.
I would love to know what the other parts of Pope Benedict’s letter were.
It seemed, from Ted’s letter to the Pope, that he was trying to justify the “imperfect” parts of his life by all of the good things he had accomplished, which is not the way things operate in the spiritual life. It was pathetic. Whoa. I think the guy was sincerely concerned about the state of his immortal soul, as well he, and all of us, should be. But, to make this public AT THE GRAVE is pretty much over the top, like so much of Senator Kennedy’s life.
Only G*d can judge a wo/man’s immortal soul, and I entirely leave Ted Kennedy’s to Him.

  27. “Previously “wacko jacko” now a “craven kennedy”. Has anybody of real renown died lately? Not newsworthy I guess.

Yes,hedly. About two weeks ago,the fat slobs sister,Eunice, died. Very few even knew she existed. Her legacy? She quitely and with heart started the Special Olympics. Methinks her legacy will live on long after everybody starts asking Ted Who??

  28. yup…even unto standing in judgement before one’s creator the arrogance and sense of entitlement of the elites leads them to attempt to ‘put the fix in’…imagine the sense of guilt and perforce sin the poor sick man was suffering as he finally realized he was leaving this existence for the other….and thought he’d end run dies irae by ‘cutting a deal” with the Pope.
verily all is vanity..only the great Guy upstairs can weigh his virtue and his sin in the balance….I only wish he’d visibly palpably suffered more on this earth and showed even a titch of remorse for any of his transgressions…and they were legion….but then you see i’m an old testament kind of guy..
but….as Johnson said..”he is gone and we are going.”…nuff said.
i think i’ll have a drink on that.

if you were a kind soul, you’d write my Obit now, pre-death, as I could use a chuckle

  30. sasquatch 7:49 PM
only ONE pallbearer is necessary, as a toilet has only ONE flush-handle:-))))

  31. I am going to raise a glass to the memory of Mary Jo Kopechne. If she had not so tragically lost her life… Ted would have became POTUS and we all would have been nuclear dust. We owe her!

  32. If I may quote Hilaire Belloc’s epigram. 1870-1953
    Epitaph on the Politician
    Here Richly, with ridiculous display,
The politicans corpse was laid away,
    while all of his aquaintance
    sneered and slanged
I wept; for I had longed to see him hanged.
    Rest in peace Mary Jo

  33. At my age death of folks I grew up with is now becoming an everyday event. I tend to look at death with a tiny bit more compassion than I did in my younger days. Perhaps because time is running out.
Once in a while on these sites I read something
that catches the total picture so well that I’m stopped and left only to say thank you.
My thank you goes to Bubba Brown for the “epitaph for the politician”.
Nothing I have read to date says it so very well.
    thanks Bubba

The CIA helped the new Baath Party government led by Abdul Salam Arif in ridding the country of suspected leftists and Communists. In a Baathist bloodbath, the government used lists of suspected Communists and other leftists provided by the CIA, to systematically murder untold numbers of Iraq’s educated elite — killings in which Saddam Hussein himself is said to have participated. The victims included hundreds of doctors, teachers, technicians, lawyers and other professionals as well as military and political figures

  35. Ted Kennedy. Killed. A. Woman.
That is the only headline we need to see.
Will the rest of the Kennedys be as useless and filled with a sense of entitlement the way Trudeau Light is?
    When will this madness end?

  36. Listening to radio while driving to town to-day, I heard Obama say that Kennedy represented the soul of the Democratic Party, and I though how true. He clearly represented what that party has become and it is something about which to brag.

  37. It all boils down to something like this:
Spend a good few hundred lifetimes perfecting: “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” (Matt. 7:12) tempered with “it is more blessed to give than it is to receive” Deut. 15:17 and alloy this with genuine mastery of humility, compassion and understanding and you will be right there. You will not need any stinking badge then. You will be able to preach your own sermon on the mount, wage war against the forces of darkness, and know how to feed the multitudes.
Guaranteed. Just send $29.95 to PO BOX 666 Kellogg, Michigan
Betcha there was a mega-million dollar check attached to his letter to the Pope. Kennedys believe they can buy anything with their money.
I wonder what went through the Pope’s mind. Bet he gets a lot of checks like that. After all, those kinds of checks built the Vatican, a kind of mystical theme park.
Bet he cashed it right away, before someone could get a stop payment on it.

  39. Thank you melwilde, not my words, Bellaire was the author, I liked it very much, a pleasure to share it with you-all. Like you I am full of years, have laid my old folks to their rest, have less patience with the fools and philanderers than I used to. Still life and truth and the certain hypocracy of the media get the juices flowing, I am young again and can still get my licks in. God bless and thank you from an old Boilermaker (retired)

  40. Were I Pope Benedict, upon receipt of Ted Kennedy’s letter my response would have echoed Jock McBile’s, “GET STUFFED”.

  41. Re: Ted Kennedy killed a woman……….
I have a theory. She was after all a campaign worker, one of her jobs may have been driving the Senator around when he had a tad too much under his belt. What happened if she was driving, and he doesn’t recall the exact details. Not that it really matters anymore, but it was just a thought!
