Full contest details can be found at: http://www.fraserinstitute.org/videocontest

Hmmmm….somehow I am thinking that most students will be sending in Chairman O worship propaganda a la USSR, i.e. government SHOULD control ALL. He’s just so dreamy ya know.
Maybe that kid that did Dion’s big speech should enter it. Shoo in for cinematography!
the results of which will be dismissed by every media outlet and leftie as “commissioned by an ultra-right wing think tank”.
A great idea that will provide hours of propaganda for any and all political points of view, and will cost a relative pittance.
Maybe Steven Harper should make a submission. Maybe even let us know what he now thinks.
Oooh, I call sending in a blank DVD 😉
The roll of government should never exceed 2 points.
1. Provide for the common defense. I.E. The military.
and
2. Create and enforce the laws. I.E. the house of commons, the senate and of course the courts and police.
Anything beyond this is a CRIME against every citizen. Unless you would rather be just a subject.
The roles the government plays in the economy:
1. distracting
2. disturbing
3. destroying
4. stalling
5…. and simply annoying
It should also be noted that the biggest damage to the economic activity by the government is created by a unelected bureaucratic human waste often suffering from a god complex.
certainly a wealth of material to draw on.
What’s an economy? (Obamabot)
“What is the appropriate role of government in the economy?”
To send me my cheques in time (Obamabots)
I know! I know! Killing economic recovery in BC with an HST!
Gordo’s re-election is not en endorsement of him, but a reflection of just how terrible the NDP is.
Gubnermyn role in economy is to STFU in most cases. And kiss my ass in all others.
The appropriate role for the government in the economy is NOTHING.
