Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Maybe the Brownshirts got to them? Told ’em to keep quiet?
I cam across this issue shortly after reading the previous post about the “pros” in journalism. Yep, thank goodness we have them to sort and sift and rummage and arrange and obfuscate and ignore and flat out lie. Amateurs just can’t handle all that.
Gee, the MSM suppressing news to protect a DemocRat president? How unprecedented!
Haven’t these idiots figured out yet that they will be debunked by the blogosphere each and every single time?
The Wall Street Journal covered the Freeman story adequately. They even had this editorial – “Obama’s National Intelligence Crackpot” – yesterday before he withdrew.
No surprise that the usual suspects that carry water for Obama had their mouths nailed shut. The guy was a shill for Saudi Arabia when ambassador there, who claimed Israel killed millions of Palestinians and felt that China didn’t act fast enough to put down protestors before Tannemem Square. All by his own words. And, the NYT’s never noticed? I doubt it.
“Haven’t these idiots figured out yet that they will be debunked by the blogosphere each and every single time?”
It took a number of years for NHL hockey players to realize they couldn’t fool the official scorer who had the scrutinizing assistance of a plethora of hi-def, super slo-mo instant replay cameras to confirm if a point-shot was actually redirected.
Yet the uber-talented and educated media elites haven’t figured out what the shlubs with skates learned pretty quick.
It appears the power of embarrassment has no impact on newsicians.
This is more of that professional journalism that was evident in Claire Rock’s article?
LOL,
Do they not know how bad they suck?
The credibility of the MSM is at about the level of the referee on WWE.
“Sure, you can read the New York Times if you want to. They get lucky sometimes.”
— M.I.B.
“The credibility of the MSM is at about the level of the referee on WWE.”
I’d say it’s on a par with the credibility of a used car salesman, Drd.
The administration of President Teleprompter is such a gong show that even some of the media are starting to notice.
I get worried when I see all the talk of newspapers dying off. Newspapers have a place in the world, particularly here in Canada, that will be hard to fill.
What else can I use to start the fire in my wood furnace every morning?
Ha ha, Rick. You had me fully sucked in, until I read your second sentence.
Shaken, to answer your question: the MSM will notice only when their enterprises are pushing up proverbial daisies. And, that moment will not come too soon in my books.
I’m pleased to see fair and balanced outlets like Fox News (in the U.S.) and the National Post newspaper (in Canada) apparently prospering while their partisan counterparts self destruct.
“I get worried when I see all the talk of newspapers dying off. Newspapers have a place in the world, particularly here in Canada, that will be hard to fill.

Easy answer….I use wood shavings….easilly lit and burn hotter and leave mini-coals….try it you will never use newspaper ever again.
I get mine by sweeping up the ribbons I get when I have to rip (as opposed to cross-cut) large knotty blocks. I save them in a barrel in the garage—then plaace a handful in a grocery bag to prevent making a mess in the house.
That was easy wasn’t it.

Hitler had his brown shirts, Mussolini had his black shirts, I suggest the Gore/Suzuki fanatics be referred to as the green shirts. These people are every bit as crazy and dangerous as the followers of any cult, fanatical religious group or diabolical dictator.
