    So who’s in this pentaverate?

  16. Too many “in jokes” here. I looked that the man from U.N.C.L.E. with the swastika book, but didn’t get the joke. There’s obviously something I’m supposed to know before wandering about this blog. But it looked creepy beyond tolerance , so I skipped it.

  19. Is it just me, or is Ignatieff eerily similar to John Miller?
    Both have worked as propagandists, written ‘white guilt’ books, and hid in ivory Tower Institutions without ever having had any real-world private sector experience.
    It amazes me that anyone, even Liberals would consider this enough experience to run a government.

Ironic this Liberal leadership race – they idolize a rookie MP like Iggy who has never been in government ; never had to make any political decisions except to win his own seat and whose life experiences for the past 30 years were mostloy in Europe and the United States as an outsider looking in down his patrician nose and reporting on those who had to make the tough decisions – like an armchair quarterback
    or – another outsider to the Liberal party , Bob Rae, whose connections to the powerful PowerCorp cabal and his “uncle” Maurice Strong more or less bought him the premiership of Ontario and who has been away from politics so long he is immersed in the last century
    While calling Dominic LeBlanc a neophhyte rookie whereas Leblanc has been in government; has been an MP for 8 years; grew up in a Canadian Liberal political home where his own father was Governor General and his childhood playmates the young Trudeau boys and he earned his law degree at Harvard.
    Strange isn’t it?

    There were always rumours that he was a big backer of George Wallace in the 1960’s. Wallace even wanted to put him on his presidential ticket at one point. Don’t know whether that makes him a “crypto-Klansman”?

  24. haha, perhaps Iggy will put a picture of Kinswilsuya cradling his swastika on his website, or wear a “shit from hell,”tee-shirt on the campaign trail.
    Kinswilsuya being tied to the advocates of tyranny, and that picture, will speak a million words.
    I would guesstimate about 23 people in Canada would research the picture, and then of course, the shithouse nazi hunter story would come out.

  25. Iggy’s up for the Prime Ministership on the Librano side because of his pedigree. Don’t you know, it’s the Librano$ who are the political party of the elites?
    They try to smear the Conservatives as being “the party with connections to Big Bu$ine$$” when it’s actually the Librano$ themselves who pander to the big-money guy$. Seeing as they have Power Corp and Maurice Strong pulling their strings, it’s a bit much for them to insist that they’re the party of the people, looking out for the little guy. The “little guys” are the immigrants they’ve allowed into the country, purely for their families’ votes.

  27. Kinsella is the symptom not the disease. Big Liberal has decided that Iggy is it. The rest of the campaign is simply a show for the stupid. Rae is finally realizing that he is on the outs and is thus trying to do as much as he can to embarrass without actually doing any real damage.
    After all who in their right mind would vote for Rae in the middle of a recession?
    In other words Kinsella is not a winner, he is simply an opportunist who knows when to back the shoe in.

  31. I have nothing but disdain for W.K. He’s a power-hungry eastern Liberal, nothing more. When he was pushed out of the LPC inner circle after the Chretien putsch, he started writing anti-LPC articles in the National Post. I haven’t seen an article from him in months, no doubt as he has been muscling himself back into the LPC echelons with Dion’s disastrous performance.
    Typical Liberal opportunist. Nothing but hunger for power. No doubt he views his “passion” as representing Da True Candian Value.
