Time for a PBS poll to go horribly wrong. Bonus link! – “The Wright Stuff”. (h/t Joe B.)

Tied up 49% to 49% as of 20:05 EDT.
Tied up 49% to 49% as of 21:13 EDT. “18:13 MST”
still tied up at 49% to 49%
That NOW poll has been up for a long time. There was a link in the comments here.
I recall checking in at one point(a few weeks ago) and they had a discussion up about skewed voting due to being able to vote more than once…
It looks like that situation has been remedied…I cannot vote again. At one point it was heavily NO…they remedied the problem when the YES was catching up.
Hope you don’t object to a link from Little Green Footballs – too funny not to share, Kate, and another pool of voters who wouldn’t otherwise be caught dead visiting PBS!
6:07 pacific time 49%-49%
Me and 5 dead guys from Chicago just cast our votes.
49-49 is very suspicious, I guess they can’t admit Sarah might be qualified, and so won’t let yes vote go above 49.
Still 49%-49%. The lib-left just can’t STAND their views being challenged.
Vis a vis only one vote being allowed AFTER the yes vote started to go up (something bluetech noticed), ‘looks like PBS clamped down on too many thumbs up for Sarah.
49%-49% @ 6:00PM PST.
Folks:
Please read the link on the same page as the poll.
“NOW: about the Sarah Palin poll.”
I belive it is inactive.
^^^^^^^^^^
Come on now Bluetech that would require reading and take away the conspiracy theories of some posters.
49% yes… 49% no.
SDA = fail!
PBS Poll:
STILL tied a perfect 49%-49% 23:08 pm.
Just an anomaly.
sure…..
Don’t you just hate it when a planned Freep’ing of poll goes wrong Kate, LOL.
that dumb poll never changes regardless how many times you vote.
It speaks volumes of both the Republican base and SDA’s hardcore readership that they believe that fixing an online poll (one with a disclaimer, no less) is the height of political smarts.
Small wonder they think Palin is a wunderkind
Still 49 – 49.
What spaks volumes to me,is that after a week,it still hasn’t chang from 49-49. I guess that’s just loading the poll for the right, and just creative statistics for the left. After all,the fas….social…errr honest left would nevere rig a poll.
“It speaks volumes of both the Republican base and SDA’s hardcore readership that they believe that fixing an online poll (one with a disclaimer, no less) is the height of political smarts.”
It speaks volumes about you that you think that pointing out that a poll exists to a more diverse readership than PBS would normally enjoy constitutes “fixing it”, Cripes.
Just voted. As of Tues, 10/07 at 10AM EST, it’s still 49%-49%. Curious, eh…
How about a poll: Is Sarah Palin more qualified with years of Govt. Admin. experience as Mayor and Governor to be VP…OR….Pres. than Mr. “Voting ‘Present’ 1183 times and NO Govt Admin experience” Hussein Obama?
If you’re going to rig a poll, why the hell would you make it 49% to 49%? Cause you know, that makes sense. Sorry I didn’t have time to review the posting rules, am I allowed to use common sense in here or is that a right-wing no-no?
LogicallySpeaking, don’t worry about it, their brains can’t process common sense, it just goes all blurry for them.
Obviously the poll has been dead for a while.
“their brains can’t process common sense, it just goes all blurry for them. ”
Speaking from personal experience eh? I would love to hear common sense from a leftie, so I will ask you a couple simple questions.
Is Palin qualified for the V.P. in any traditional sense? Why or why not?
Is Obama qualified for POTUS in any traditional sense? Why or why not?
Remember to use logic and evidence in your answer.
My answer, she is less qualified than a lot of VPs but not all.
He is less qualified than any POTUS, including and since Lincoln.
Bluetech is right the poll is closed. However I have one question for RoC, Johnny A, Zorph, etal. If it is just right wing paranoia on the part of freepers. Please explain where the missing 2% of the vote went. Last time I checked 49% + 49% = 98% not 100%.
