Blogging Notes

The fog is lifting. I actually arrived home on Sunday, but it’s taken a day for my head to clear after the most demanding month of work deadlines and travel I’ve endured in several years. Many, many thanks – once again – to the guest bloggers who helped take up the slack, especially on developments on the Canadian election scene, which remains unmentioned in the US media. (I’ve invited the Captain to stay on if he wishes, to better round out coverage of the financial crisis in the US.)
As you were!

  1. Welcome back Kate! I’m looking forward to some of your excellent commentaries. You are conspicuous in your absence…

  2. Kate, we’re all pretty darn grateful that you manage to find the time to run this blog. Don’t know how you do it.
Your guest bloggers are a great bunch too.

  3. Johnathan Kay calls it a good week for the Canadian blogsphere — becoming very effective n’ all. Hughes, CHRC, ect.
He mentions a few sites (Black Rod, BigCityLib) but could not bring himself to mention Canada’s #1 blog, 4 years running. Why ?

  5. Kate…however there are many great bloggers, when you run your blog the magic of communicating and information is really cranked up.

  6. The diversity of your subjects is well appreciated buy all of us who have um, rather divergent interests.
Also, thanks for bringing the Captain on. I have been reading his stuff for about 12 months now and he is always relevant. He also thinks about things in a divergent way – not a contrary way, just a way of shining the flashlight into the dark corners.
You two will get along nicely, and provide an interesting blog. Thank you.
