  1. Wow he sure knows how to tap into a free fluid supply of labor, eh?
High school student – to “help” run the lib blogs?
Guess we won’t notice the difference then.

  2. Guess we won’t notice the difference then.
Sure we will. A high school kid should make it much more intelligent.

  3. Taking time out to brush up on those English comprehension skills, huh Isam/Warman/Lucy?
Must be a full time job..

  4. I seem to recall that The Western Standard ran largely on the free labour of “interns” โ€” or so the numerous calls for such that came in my e-mail box would seem to have indicated. That is, when they weren’t flogging their latest luxury cruises with various notables that populate the editorial pages of our “liberal media”…

  5. Jason Cherniak has “fallen” because he got his law licence and is getting busy with his practice so now he wants to delegate some political work he helped organize??

  6. I tried to volunteer, pointing out that I loathe the gliberals and don’t do nothing for nothing. Apart from those minor differences, I do believe that I’m perfect for the job

  7. “That means that if you are in high school, it is possible that this could count as volunteer time in Ontario.”
    ====================
There are Liberals outside of Ontario???

  8. We note that regardless of fiscal limits and commitments the sacred Librano spin must run unabated…the seamless stream of intoxicating self worthg and validating goo must continue to flow to provide succour for other doctrinaire libranos in this down cycle of reason.

  9. “partisan Liberal”? “for free”?
I would have thought these two categories were mutually exclusive… ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. There are several differences in how campaigns are run here. Those of us that help out the Republican campaigns do so on our own time and we are paid the same that all volunteers are paid. I presume that the Dems have some volunteers as well but we are told that their helpers are paid a wage.
This is in keeping with the different philosophies between left and right. The left (purportedly) believes in minimum wages, unions, workers rights and all that. The right believes more in individual responsibility, part of which includes the preceived responsibility of the advantaged or successful to assist others.
I suspect that even Liberals should be able to attract at least a few volunteers but I do notice that the whole idea runs counter to one of their basic philosophies. Now, a summer employment program for students that would make these students available for said purpose paid for by EI or some other department would be more in keeping with Liberal values. Shhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

  11. I see Red Tampon haunting the BT sites these days (Now he shows up at ‘headquarters’ SDA…How brave!)…It is known in military circles that when the enemy is capitulating they try to befriend their foe before it’s too late for them (The cowards anyway).
Must be cold and lonely in Liblog lalaland these days.
Don’t be surprized if “Ti-Girl” and “Liberal Suspenders” soon join the fray…Vomit bags available at the front desk.

  12. How about that! Please come run my blog site for free so that I get the credit. Sounds a lot like a Liberal lawyer. If you don’t have the time to run your blog site Cherniak, just go go away! Nobody will miss you.

  13. Cherniyuck may have problems if he does get a teenybopper to do this job. Kids at that age haven’t had their moral standards and idealism beaten out of them yet.
    Just sayin’, Jason.

  14. given that SDA is such an important part of the canadian political landscape, with a readership larger than many newspapers, it must be safe to assume that kate will be paying her various contributors even larger sums as her wealth and fame grow?

  15. the talk of money seems to have awoken Jeff from a long slumber.
no one pays for pictures anymore jeff either. welcome to the 21st centurey.

  16. With a younger, newer, less ultra-partisan pimply-faced Elf at the helm, maybe Liblog contributors won’t have to worry so much about being blackballed for speaking out against Stephane Dion and Liberal doctrine in their blogs. The Wingnuterer, the Grumpy Voter and whoever else was booted or warned by Cherniak for having the gaul to question policies and principles or prominent Liberals and the Liberal Party may be able to feel like they can speak their minds on whatever they want.

  17. Jasons hit meter must be smokin’
…and now i gotta clean my computer from all that nasty liberano bile…
    What a joke.

  18. “given that SDA is such an important part of the canadian political landscape, with a readership larger than many newspapers, it must be safe to assume that kate will be paying her various contributors even larger sums as her wealth and fame grow?”
    Jeffy,
With the large readership as you mentioned, the contributers here are getting more than money, they are getting an audience. Money can’t buy that. Plus the content is relevant and entertaining. The Left is incapable of such things.
And Jeffy, splain this … if Kate needed some help with her blog, there would be a line up of volunteers. If she needed financial support the money would pour in. Why is that? Why can the leftosphere do that?

  19. Gee, being a lieberal lawyer now, I’d figure Jason would have a vast sea of “volunteers” over at the Kingston Pen who would be willing to write a blog as “community service” and time served.

I was never warned, or booted, or anything by Jason. I left at one point and then rejoined. Jason knows that I will not tolerate any crapl and I have called him a Liberal Look-Aid drink to his face, while we were having some BBQ and beers last summer.
So sorry, rumours of my flogging and expulsion are greatly exagerated, just an FYI.
You can now resume dissing me at your pleassure ๐Ÿ˜‰

Head Nut Job of The Wingnuterer

  21. Perhaps if some prominate Liberals contributed money to their own party they would have some money to bankroll their expansion. What a bunch of elitist losers.

  22. Perhaps if some prominent Liberals contributed money to their own party they would have some money to bankroll their recruitment drive. What a bunch of elitist losers.

  23. Good Gawd, jeff davidson. There’s a massive difference between those of us who voluntarily comment on Kate’s blog as her guests and HER ASKING ONE OF US TO TAKE CARE OF HER BLOG FOR FREE, while she plies her trade for a fee.
That’s what I love about you l/Liberals: You don’t know your a** from a tea kettle–or, whatever. No discernment. No reality. Just la-la-land all the time.

  24. Kinsella’s geezer punk band “Shit for Brains” playing for free,
Garth and Dion’s free meeting in Oakville,
    Jason’s looking for free help.
    What’s next?
Free hot dogs at the next Liberal convention being held at a used car lot?

  25. So I visited Cherniak’s blog out of curiousity, and decided to see if he linked to SDA. Quel surprise! No.
But what bugged me was the large lists of blogs he lists as “progressive”. Can someone please explain to me just what exactly is “progressive” about trying to extinguish over 400 years of Enlightenment principles, and replace them with the concepts of heresy and the Inquisition?
