3. This whole situation is hilarious. I’m glad this lesbo filed a complaint. The more complaints that are filed, the more ludicrous this whole HRC becomes. Perhaps the stand-up comedy community in Canada should have a night where they trash all
   kinds of the “protected” people. Then let the complaints be filed. Inundate the HRCs with complaints until they collapse under the volume.
   I’d pay good money just to attend one of these shows, just to show my support for the freedom of speech. Sometimes mere words don’t move people to react. Sometimes you have to show them by example.

4. Good point Malcolm Cross. I’ve long believed that people move when stuff happens ‘where they live’. The islamization of the West, esp. Europe, is a highly abstract notion for most Canadians and most have no clue and MSM provides no info. But a comic going to court over a heckler putdown — “you CAN’T be serious!!!” most people will shout from hard left through the centre to the hard right.
   And as others have pointed out, 99% of artists and entertainers are liberal, so this liberal on liberal thing is great news. Let’s enjoy.
   I think this comic should call their bluff and just not show up. This would be a huge dilemma for the HRC. They couldn’t possibly pursue this into real court. A comic can’t go to jail for contempt of court over a drunk heckler putdown!

   Three problems with the ides.
   1. We who believe in free speech would never subject others to HRC harassment.
   2. We would be lending HRC’ legitimacy, something we are trying to deprive them of.
   3. They will NEVER collapse under the volume. It’s what they crave and there are thousands of monsters just like them whom they’d hire in a heartbeat.

NoGuff, I don’t know about that, not that your position isn’t a principled and logical one, but, how about normal Christians and Jews, suffering under the weight of a lefty hijacked culture that disrespects our lifestyle and religion, flooding these liberal snakes and their protected entitled minorities with an avalanche of our grievances for a change? We are simply too polite to turn the tables on these folks and we are losing because of it.
   Liberals that now have the upper hand aren’t that bright, aren’t that wealthy, aren’t that better educated, they just got lucky. They just haven’t met with a stiff and organized resistance until now.

7. Who in their right mind would wander into a comedy club thinking they were at no risk of being offended? Good grief, stand up comics can roast everyone in the front tables, the men, women, gays, straights, singles, married, whites, blacks and orientals, all in the first five minutes of the warm up act. That’s part of the allure of comedy clubs — the element of emotional danger. Can anyone imagine a stand up comedy routine in which an identifiable group is not offended? Gimme a break. How would George Carlin have handled this? Stand up comedy is the last bastion of free speech in the country. I guess that’s about to change.
