    Should some Senator in the US Congress file a motion to instruct the Canadian government to tell the Liberal Party to pay back the taxpayer money they stole?
    Should someone in the US Congress file a motion to insturct the Canadian government to carry out a valid and fair trial to the Air India bombing carried out by Sikh/Canadian terrorists?

    A friend of mine, successful small businessman who always rails about how stupid government employees are, believes in the 9/11 conspiracy theory. When I remind him of his views and noting the hundreds of thousands of people that would be involved and the months of explosive preparation with wires and holes everywhere in the World Trade Center yet no one noticing anything would require government coordination we have never seen before and you still believe in this. “Yes”, he replied. All I could say was “Wow”.

    I once had a discussion with a former mother-in-law about why she voted for the NDP. Her reasoning was that the NDP gave her more benefits. When I pointed out that the taxes on her husband’s paycheck (which she claimed were excessive)paid for these benefits she denied that completely, informing me that it was the political parties who paid for these benefits.
    This is the kind of reasoning the NDP fosters with their talk of “free” health care, and “free” daycare and “free” everything under the sun.
    It takes a moonbat to spread the “free” propoganda and another moonbat to swallow it.

  14. Hilarious, I could get 500 sorry signatures for a petition verifying that the Earth is flat or that the CIA is implanting nanotransmitters in our hair follicles. You just have to spend the time dredging for them. It helps leaving the petition in the right places too, like mental health clinic waiting rooms or on conspiracy sites that paranoids love to visit. Then, there are always the wise guys on college campuses that would sign for laughs. I wonder though how many of her signatures were a Mohammed or a Hassan. It’s been one of their common themes. You could get 500 signatures just hitting enough mosques.
    I’d love to know which of the short list of Usual Suspects crafted this petition, but, what’s it matter, all are just as valid to her. A brighter politician would have mailed it on to the Canadian Parliament’s (Nut) Mail Division in good faith and salvaged their dignity.

  17. Granted it is only a petition. It is amazing how some still cling to this idea that Dubya caused 9/11. I think it’s a simple matter of cognitive dissonance – the big bad US actually got attacked and were victims – it just doesn’t jive with their world view that the 3rd world is innocent babes who have been victimized by colonization.
    Remember the moonbat creed – Climate change is proven, and fire cannot melt steel.
    If you want to get more insight into moonbat “thought”, just read another of Susan Riley’s ridiculously biased articles – like the one today where she admits Harper was statesmanlike on native apology and Afghanistan deployment, but a big meanie on anything else. Besides the obvious naivety of her remarks, she just doesn’t get it that Grits have gone negative from day one, including Dion’s reign, and Tories are playing political hardball with them, plain and simple.
    What’s next, another petition from Dion – “be it resolved that Harper is a big meanie and a verrrrry terrible PM, who is just as corrupt and incomptent as I am, and should be replaced now, with an election, so I can get into power as soon as possible – Abstain.”
