  1. Welcome to the followers, worshippers & promoters of Churchianity.
The difference between them or the out right heretics who deny Christ or the Swaggarts who abuse Him for money. Is the overpowering sense of self righteousness found there. The I am better than you opposite of what Jesus said.
There are real Christians among these people but they are in the minority. Its the same in any Church, maybe 1/3 really believe.

  2. Has “Jeremiah “God damn America!” Wright” taken his motto/inspiration from Ernst Lissauer’s “Hymn of Hate” which contains the words “Gott strafe England”?
Lissauer, an assimilated Jew and a devout German nationalist, composed the “Hymn of Hate” in 1914 just prior to WWI.
When did Wright compose his hymn of hate which contains the words “God Damn America”?

  3. Better watch that through to the end, RD…heh…
What actually happens is that a white man speaks at a black church. He lampoons Hillary and proudly declares Obama’s victory. I thought Obama had this Democratic race sewn up a while ago, but he has yet to win the real contest against John McCain.
By the time the real votes are counted in November it’s possible that Americans will choose McCain. Hope and change sound more like a lot of hot air, but the general public may sort that out by then.

  4. Is it only the “rich” people who have to give up their 401ks?
    What constitutes a rich person?
If the 80/20 rule were to be applied how much “wealth ” would be redistributed?
How much is the professional pastor getting paid and how big is his 401K.

  5. You know, guys like this are why I don’t have much use for churches. Michelle Malkin had a comment to that effect, and I have to agree with the sentiment.
Spirituality informs politics, not the reverse.

  6. This election is about change, as Obama is so desperate to affirm. But it’s a regressive change. Back to the ’60s.
A change from a focus on development, rapid technological innovations and progress to the frozen realm and self-flagellation of an assumed guilt. Guilt about what? Ahh…that’s where Obama is moving.
Guilt about race. Guilt about gender. Guilt about wealth – and the results of wealth (technology, progress).
This election is divisive; it’s asking Americans to define themselves, not as Americans, but within isolate sectors. Racial. Colour. Religion. History.
The Declaration of Independence and the Amendments reject such divisiveness. Obama is rejecting the very basic structure of America, which is its inclusiveness and its focus on only the actual individual – regardless of ethnicity, colour, religion, history.

  7. I love Barry Hussein’s pastors and friends. They are the best things that McCain could hope for.

  8. Pretending to be a Negro isn’t going to make this white pastor jump any higher, dance any better or have a larger penis. So what’s with him anyway?

  9. Personally I think the priest should take his comedy routine on the road. He’s hilarious and definitely missed his calling.
I love the performance of the people in the background as well. I remember the complaints of the blacks that the movie industry stereotyped them in the 30s and 40s with characters like Butterfly in Gone with the Wind and the male actor whose name I never knew who made a living shuffling his feet, with a lugubrious expression, droopy eyes, slack-jawed and one step away from being in a coma. Then you have the real blacks acting like real blacks, or so I presume, in Rev. Wright’s church.
Will the real black people please stand up.
And when you do, disassociate yourself from what is termed black theology and the weirdos preaching it.
(And what the h— a white R.C. priest is doing in the midst of that insanity only his psychiatrist knows.)

  10. Sorry to come back yet again, but I just go this in an Email from an American friend. I don’t know if Jay truly wrote this, but the message is a good one in the face of Barry’s threat for change. It’s a good reminder of what we already have and don’t appreciate.
    ———————————————-
Jay Leno wrote this; it’s the Jay Leno we don’t often see….
As most of you know I am not a President Bush fan, nor have I ever been, but this is not about Bush, it is about us, as Americans, and it seems to hit the mark.
‘The other day I was reading Newsweek magazine and came across some Poll data I found rather hard to believe. It must be true given the source, right?
The Newsweek poll alleges that 67 percent of Americans are unhappy with the direction the country is headed and 69 percent of the country is unhappy with the performance of the President.
In essence 2/3 of the citizenry just ain’t happy and want a change. So being the knuckle dragger I am, I started thinking, ‘What are we so unhappy about?”
A.. Is it that we have electricity and running water 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week?
B.. Is our unhappiness the result of having air conditioning in the summer and heating in the winter?
C.. Could it be that 95.4 percent of these unhappy folks have a job?
    D. Maybe it is the ability to walk into a grocery store at any time and see more food in moments than Darfur has seen in the last year?
E.. Maybe it is the ability to drive our cars and trucks from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean without having to present identification papers as we move through each state?
F.. Or possibly the hundreds of clean and safe motels we would find along the way that can provide temporary shelter?
G.. I guess having thousands of restaurants with varying cuisine from around the world is just not good enough either.
    H. Or could it be that when we wreck our car, emergency workers show up and provide services to help all and even send a helicopter to take you to the hospital.
I.. Perhaps you are one of the 70 percent of Americans who own a home.
J.. You may be upset with knowing that in the unfortunate case of a fire, a group of trained firefighters will appear in moments and use top notch equipment to extinguish the flames, thus saving you, your family, and your belongings.
K.. Or if, while at home watching one of your many flat screen TVs, a burglar or prowler intrudes, an officer equipped with a gun and a bullet-proof vest will come to defend you and your family against attack or loss.
L.. This all in the backdrop of a neighborhood free of bombs or militias raping and pillaging the residents. Neighborhoods where 90% of teenagers own cell phones and computers.
M.. How about the complete religious, social and political freedoms we enjoy that are the envy of everyone in the world?
Maybe that is what has 67% of you folks unhappy.
Fact is, we are the largest group of ungrateful, spoiled brats the world has ever seen. No wonder the world loves the U.S., yet has a great disdain for its citizens. They see us for what we are. The most blessed people in the world who do nothing but complain about what we don’t have, and what we hate about the country instead of thanking the good Lord we live here.
I know, I know. What about the president who took us into war and has no plan to get us out? The president who has a measly 31 percent approval rating? Is this the same president who guided the nation in the dark days after 9/11? The president that cut taxes to bring an economy out of recession? Could this be the same guy who has been called every name in the book for succeeding in keeping all the spoiled ungrateful brats safe from terrorist attacks? The commander in chief of an all-volunteer army that is out there defending you and me?
Did you hear how bad the President is on the news or talk show? Did this news affect you so much, make you so unhappy you couldn’t take a look around for yourself and see all the good things and be glad? Think about it……are you upset at the President because he actually caused you personal pain OR is it because the ‘Media’ told you he was failing to kiss your sorry ungrateful behind every day. Make no mistake about it.
The troops in Iraq and Afghanistan have volunteered to serve, and in many cases may have died for your freedom. There is currently no draft in this country. They didn’t have to go. They are able to refuse to go and end up with either a ”general” discharge, an ‘other than honorable” discharge or, worst case scenario, a ”dishonorable” discharge after a few days in the brig.
So why then the flat-out discontentment in the minds of 69 percent of Americans?
Say what you want but I blame it on the media. If it bleeds it leads and they specialize in bad news. Everybody will watch a car crash with blood and guts. How many will watch kids selling lemonade at the corner? The media knows this and media outlets are for-profit corporations. They offer what sells, and when criticized, try to defend their actions by ‘justifying’ them in one way or another. Just ask why they tried to allow a murderer like OJ. Simpson to write a book about how he didn’t kill his wife, but if he did he would have done it this way……Insane!
Turn off the TV, burn Newsweek, and use the New York Times for the bottom of your bird cage. Then start being grateful for all we have as country. There is exponentially more good than bad. We are among the most blessed people on Earth and should thank God several times a day, or at least be thankful and appreciative.’ ‘With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding, severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, ‘Are we sure this is a good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?’
    Jay Leno

  11. FOX has been all over this pathetic Al Sharpton wannabe priest. Every time the loop of his guilty white boy pandering to his all black congregation repeats it gets more twisted and laughable. You can bet this creep is as anti-Semitic as hell too.
So, that’s the company that Obama keeps, race hustlers, narcissistic personality disordered sociopaths, and anti-American weasels, keep it coming. It’s a window into the soul of Obama.

  12. I was very pleased to read the piece by “Jay Leno”. I am able to travel often just “over the river” to Michigan. I do feel badly for anyone who has not got a decent job and could understand an outrage of sorts. Yes, change needed- sure. As for the average citizen there in the Upper Penninsula, they sure have a wonderful area. I don’t know about their views and carefully keep clear of the great struggle with Hillary and Barack.

Other than that, the piece puts it beautifully. What more do they(Obama worshippers) want? There may be a clue and I do not recomend it for anyone, that is to have had it pretty hard at one time. I had a roughish time in my own native country-England in the early fifties. Ok, well working class unskilled youth were better off than their fathers. Still, had not got a lot.

I saw a film “Rebel Without a Cause” starring the late James Dean. I think vintage 1954. There it was- California, big cars, doting parents, a father who would have given the rebel any sort of start. A beautiful gal friend (Natalie Wood).

There I was in England making down payments on my bicycle and working hard. “Know your place” and all that. I saw this – though a movie, absolute dream of a place, sunshine and all.

Rebel? My heavens, what did he want? I still cannot figure it out. (laughs).

    Jay Leno Commentary On America-Fiction!
    Summary of the eRumor:
An article said to be written by comedian and Tonight Show host Jay Leno and reflecting his observation about America and Americans. Some versions say it’s Leno talking about George Bush.
    The Truth:
This was not written by Jay Leno, but does close with a quote from Leno that someone added and whoever forwarded this left out Craig Smith’s name and thought Leno must have penned it.
The commentary was written by Craig R. Smith and published on WorldNetDaily.com at Thanksgiving, 2006.
At the end is the Leno quote, “With hurricanes, tornados, fires out of control, mud slides, flooding,
severe thunderstorms tearing up the country from one end to another, and
with the threat of bird flu and terrorist attacks, “Are we sure this is a
good time to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance?” Leno said this on The Tonight Show 2005 after a lawsuit was filed to remove references to God from the Pledge of Allegiance.

A good comment, none the less.

  14. E.T. hit it on the mark – McCain should run his election campaign on Pride vs. Guilt.

  15. Leno can yank himself on K.
There is no guarantee that the police will show up.
When seconds count, the cops are minutes away.
Each individual is personally responsible for their safety and well-being. Not the frickin’ Nanny or Big Brother.

  16. That white priest was assigned to a church in a black neighbourhood and just started pandering to them. He adopted their style and politics too.

  17. Let the Carnival continue..
From the Land of dope opera’s, JR Ewing and rethuglican politics comes the latest in entertainment of no value.
What’s amusing is that Canadian politicos try to adopt this bash and smash style of mind control politics, while the American politicos take a page out of Canadian political strategy.

  18. Reminds me of Reverand Al Gore in face and mannerisms.
Apart from that, couldn’t listen to the end of his first sentence – he was about to try to make me feel guilty for what my ancestors didn’t do.
