  1. Not much new here from the lords on high in the liberal party. Chretien played this arrogant hand many times.
Gotta say that the backlash is fine entertainment.

  2. David Orchard should really team up with Lizzie May of the ‘Red / Green’ party, his truly natural home.
That may be their first seat in Ottawa.

  3. good entertainment for sure …rabid ralphie is foaming at the mouth again, i’m sure he will be outraged soon.
hey does anyone know if rabid ralph and danny boy williams are twins…they sure look and sound alike. maybe they just use the same hair gel.lol

  4. Niceto see the msm is finally giving some light to this fiasco.Saw ralph on the braaaaawdcast tonite, and even Newman seemed to be stunned at Ralph’s spin..to the point of hammering him with the stupidity of this ‘annointing’ of Beatty.I loved it when Ralph pointed out that ‘she is a woman, and she’s aboriginal’and met Dion’s promise to load up the libs.with more female candidates. When Newman tried to link Beatty’s jumping ship to David Emerson’s defection,Ralph went into supreme sputtering denial..’no,no,it’s not at all like that” I give Newman credit for holding ralph’s feet to the fire on this one.Orchard showed up on Duffy’s show..couldn’t watch..he’s just too weird for me.
New poll out,and ‘devastating’for Dion’s leadership qualities..that remark from Donolo,so ya know that ship is going down!On ctv Nat.News.

  5. Good for the First Nations! Native Pride is VERY powerful. I don’t know what the Hell they are doing with the UN socialist Party/s! They don’t want to be herded on a “Korea Trail of Tears”, thats one long walk.

  6. Regarding the CTV/Globe and Mail sponsored poll – the criteria at the bottom indicates that 37.9% of the people polled were in Ontario. Not looking very good!

  7. The folks in the north don’t like being told what to do by Ottawa and they also don’t like being told what to do by Regina.
Well played Ralphie. I owe you a beer.

  8. Orchard Davidians!! Why haven’t I heard that one before?!
I did see him on Mike Duffy. A lunatic with a messiah complex.

  9. “Goodale has said Beatty’s name was put forward by the so-called Green Light Committee (GLC), a group of Liberal members who help organize the party for upcoming elections and vet potential candidates. Formed last year in all provinces, the GLC is responsible for meeting Dion’s stated target of 33 per cent candidates being women, as well as encouraging more aboriginal candidates.”
GLC = Gestapo candidate selection committee. Give it a name and it’s not an individual such as Stephan Dion or Ralph GoodWhale. It a committee … no one to blame … there was consensus.
33% women and Indians. That isn’t very rounded out so, how about say 3% mentally handicapped, 3% drug users, 3% homeless people and 3% white non-effeminate white males just so everyone is represented and finally 33% fewer lawyers so we can have a break from any further laws for awhile. You can add your favorite loser to the roster. They surely can’t do worse than the brain dead liberals currently getting paid well for sitting in parliament farting on well padded chairs.
Our Liberal opposition wants to make a collage of itself. I guess they are just plain out of gas.
They are messing a primal right in a democracy … the people get to decide who represents them. That goes for selecting those who will run.
Stephane is a little weasel dictator and is not even aware of it. His delusion is that he knows how to do socialism that works.

  10. The poll is great news. I think it might have to do with the video of Dion holding a hockey stick shooting a puck in Afghanistan. It was not a pretty sight. No coordination whatsoever.

  11. Saw Orchard Branch Davidian on CTV tonight, he had that deer in the headlights look of one just betrayed. He handed Borat Dion his delegates and got spun out anyway.
This is one bit of Puffin Poop they arent hiding well.

  12. I do think that the whirling Dervish metaphor should be adopted by Deyawn and his adherents. Deyawn would make quite a dramatic figure in a white floor lenth circle robe spinning around and around and around…Goodie Raphie, not so much. Iggie could do a Rasputan variation, perhaps.

  13. Phillip G Shaw. Yea I guess Native pride is strong , too bad it isn’t quite strong enough to get them of the taxpayers back and allow them to look after themselves. I know it can be done because I know some Indians that have done it and are doing quite well.

  14. You have to admit Beatty fits right in as a Liberal, pure opportunism, she runs Provincially for the NDP, wins her riding, but the NDP don’t get POWER, so she quits, then she signs up as a Lib to run federally, if the Libs don’t get power in the next election she’ll quit………

  15. How do you say, “kiss it goodbye”, in Metis?
    …-
“I think the Liberals can kiss it goodbye,” said Jim Durocher, a former Liberal candidate and past president of the Metis Association of Saskatchewan.”
Goody says: “”It reinforces [Citoyen Dion] our leader’s judgment about what a high-quality candidate she [Beatty] is.” …-

  16. Ralph Goodale and his flaming pants
In one week, Liberal MP Ralph Goodale is called a liar, not once, not twice, but three times.
And not by members of other political parties. Liberals seem to have no problem in declaring that Ralph Goodale’s grasp of the truth is shaky at best. {…]
Meanwhile, Ralph Goodale is saying that the Green Light Committee put forward Joan Beatty’s name and was very enthusiastic about that choice. Not so says GLC member Doug Richardson, who is saying categorically that Ralph Goodale is telling a whopper, and that the GLC was not behind any particular candidate:
But Doug Richardson, a Saskatoon lawyer and GLC member — and one-time chief of staff for John Turner — categorically denied Goodale’s claim the GLC supported any single candidate. In fact, Richardson mentioned to a few people as they entered the meeting that he is personally behind Orchard. …-

    Rob, C
That is “Native Pride” not “False Pride”
I am sure my definition of Native Pride does not meet yours. The fact that I am of the “obedient” white tribe means it will not meet the First nations own definition.
I believe that the First Nations have a unique tribal “value” system, similar to that of Wales (see Princess’s of Wales) That tribal system did not survive but the First Nations have endured & rejected the social engineering of our enlightened/superior society. The guilt trip has boomeranged on the Bureaucrats. Who do you think is winning & why should they not be proud.
