“Why is your union talking like a kindergarten teacher?”

This is the level at which the braintrust at the Canadian Union of Public Employees communicates with its Saskatchewan members.

  1. ok4ua says he is of ukranian heritage but there is something very Brockett 99 about the way he writes and his sense of entitlement. if you get my drift, nudge nudge wink wink

  2. Thank God your election’s tomorrow.  I’m getting tired of watching the train wreck that is the run-up to it.
Anyone care to forecast seat totals?

  3. I see there was little headway in confronting a self defeating socialist slave with facts.
I wonder if conditioned commies like ok4u realize what dupes they are? Ready made ants for the fabian socialist elite to pick your bones (literally) while you have an idiotic grin on your puss thinking the savaging your freedom and property is taking is for some utopian “better good” …which never materializes.
Any government or institution that tells you your self imposed serfdom is a morally correct thing, while they enrich themselves and their patrons at your expense, are really not people who care about your best interests….and it shows in Sask….the politically connected prosper, the prolateriat goes wanting.

  4. “Alberta is like a 51st state and the bullshit that goes with it.”
Hey, if Alberta ever gets ready, we’d be honored.

    Greg, we’re ready!
Saskatchewan, I wish you well in your election tomorrow however I fear the only people who would vote for the Sask party have already moved to Alberta.
    Good luck and God Bless

  5. There is something terribly wrong when you have to hire unionized workers in a university. Shouldn’t services, (food, janitorial, engineering, etc.) be awarded to private companies who offer the cheapest and most efficent service?
Parents and kids alike are struggling to pay for tuition, often having to borrow money for their children’s education. Yet these so called “workers” are outside on the street holding society hostage so they can prosper while others fail. Socialism at it’s finest hour. Solution: Privatized services.

  6. the back side of the pamphlete reminds ALL members to look both ways before crossing the street and has a picture of an elephant [ yaa i remember the 70’s mmmm]

  7. I can hear it already , in 4 years the union will be chanting the now famous ” hey hey ho ho the sask party has got to go”..such a mature deep song ain’t it ?

  8. You guys on this blog are obviously unemployed wannabes. Most of you do not or have not had a decent job. You probably work for Walmart or Radio Shack. They hire people who are desperate like yourselves.

  9. ok4ua: I know you are, but what am I?
I always treasure your posts for their depth and breadth of argument.
What I can’t believe here is that CUPE obviously subcontracted the artwork out to Japanese labor. What, Canadian artists weren’t good enough for them??? ;^)
Also, it was amusing that the BEST they could do on the negative comments were only as recent as 2 to 4 years ago. C’mon, guys, I bet Brad Wall’s said something disparaging about you more recently than that! Where are your mad research skills? Or is that the best you can do having become dulled by guaranteed government jobs?
Best wishes to all of Saskatchewan – if the party of your choice doesn’t win, remember, there are TONS of jobs here in Alberta, and the health care is awesome (by Canadian standards anyway).

I didn’t know that working for Wal-Mart or Radio Shack was a disgrace? Wow! Just imagine what one can learn by reading ok4ua’s comments. My guess is that anyone who would have that much time on his or her hands must be an elected member of the NDP, or working for the Dept. of Highways. How do manage to work a laptop when you’re hiding under a truck?
