  1. I’m with lwestin (but I won’t double post-heh).
Nice to see your name on the list Kate. I agree.
Passed through Delisle this weekend, starting to grow. Waved.

  2. I would like to nominate Stephane Dion.
    M. Dion is greatly decreasing the probability that the party of entitlement and theft will be issued keys to our nation’s treasury anytime soon.

  3. Nice to see Kate’s name up there.
I would also suggest Ezra Levant, publisher of the Western Standard. He’s shown more courage as a print journalist than any others in Canada. He is fighting a complaint before the Alberta commission of commissars over publishing the least controversial of the Danish cartoons.

  4. I agree with Bart F.
Mr. Everywhere Man must soldier on.
The greatest gift he could give Canada is to insure that he leads the Libs during the upcoming federal election.

  5. Mario Dumont, the strongest mainstream voice speaking out against the twin scourges of mass immigration and multiculturalism.

  6. I would like to nominate John Allen.
Although a largely unknown name to Canadians Mr. Allen is the owner and master brewer who created Propeller Brewing In Halifax Canada……….
….. and the heavenly nectar that pours from it’s traditional copper kettles: Propeller India Pale Ale.
Canada’s true Renaissance man,…Rejecting corporate mass production brewing and its bland, watery chemical-laced product for renewing the local craft brewing tradition in Canada and reintroducing traditional real ale and serving it fresh.
John Allen is at the forefront of a small group of men ( craft brewers) who are single handedly undoing the massive damage prohibition and corporate brewing has done to Canadian beer and Canadian beer culture.
No politician in the past 200 years has done as much for true Canadian culture as this man.
So tilt a pint of real ale to one of the few people not frigging up the culture 😉

  7. Anonymous, on the attached thread, seems to have a problem with Anne Cools’s name standing for someone in public life who’s actually helping Canada and its citizens.
Anne Cools, Senator, may have been appointed by Trudeau, but she’s done a complete about face–actually, back to her solid roots–and is now one of the “good guys” in the Senate.
She’s now a national treasure, IMO.

  8. I can’t believe I only saw Don Cherry listed once. A windbag, but an honest one. Only one other person in public life of any kind that I would trust, Preston Manning.

  9. I’m not sure if this is appropriate; Kate, cut it at will if you must; but I think that Jack Layton is a moron.
He will champion women’s rights and the poor; but demand we withdraw from our commitments in Afghanistan before our tour is up at the expense of the very people he “champions”.
He will go on about universal health care and as a typical socialist, deny expanded private facilities or two tier access for the public, but use those facilities himself.
He is a hypocrite, and a socialist who thinks he smarter than everybody – in effect a moron.
Anyone with half a clue sees right through the schtick – as I’m sure most readers do here.
I can hardly wait to see the coverage of Layton going on about his “BREAKTHROUGH” in Quebec when the turn was so low.
As far as the results in Quebec:
    Say goodbye Dion.
Can you say election soon….November? Or will the BLOQ and LIB’s chicken out regardless of the Throne Speech
Could be the longest minority in history – any data for the longest?

  10. Kate, Mark Styne, Kevin Steel (Western Standard), Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Stockwell Day (great Public safty Min and he had the courage to mention Maurice Strong in the HOC), Steve at GWN, Mr. Morrissy @ Captains Quarters (he published the Braut testimony first and Steve at GWN linked to his site – a moment in time that changed everything in the news reporting of Canada), Mr. O Connor, Ted Byfield – in no particular order.

  11. Katie is nothing but a Conservative apologist and only deserves to be on a list of people screwing things up. Quite frankly, I’m surprised you squeaked off it.

  12. Isee a lot of you right wingers like to ride on the coat tails of our troops. You bunch of phoneys. I make no bones about it the troops should come home. No other country is on the front lines of battle but us. Think about it. I’m tired of you phoney patriots who sit back in your easy chairs and talk about traitors. I’m not a gut liberal but I don’t have to talk about war and support for the troops because you have nothing else to talk about. You think it makes you look good. None of our MP’s in Ottawa have kids over there fighting and neither do you lot.
