Whoa, didn’t the Taliban blow-up irreplaceable Bhuddist statues not that long ago. So, they are moving in the direction that they promised. Now the left is put on notice that one of their main icons, the Dalai Lama, is at risk. A bummer. Too busy hoping for the assassination of Bush or Cheney to lift their heads from their lattes when the statues got pulverized.
If the Dalai Lama takes a direct hit they are going to want an avenger (but, being multi-culti equivocators – he would have wanted to die that way – will work too), are they thinking Nancy Pelosi or the undertaker Harry Reid go after the Islamofascists for them? If there was ever a “Religion of Peace” the Dalai Lama would be a perfect example of a follower. Correct me if I’m wrong but other than torching themselves once in a while, I don’t see too many heads being lopped off in the name of Bhudda or children being pushed back in a burning building for that matter.
My wife dallied (Dalaid?) for a while with Buddhist literature but gave it up when she sensed that Buddhism doesn’t recognize the existence of evil in the world.

Buddhism understands very well the capabilities of humans to create both positive and negative conditions in one’s own life and by one’s actions towards others. It also understands that ‘what goes around,comes around’, or, ‘you reap what you sow’. One can experience heaven or hell, as a result of your own actions. ‘Evil’ actions lead to misery and hellish existence.
