UPDATE – Breaking… Hundreds to be Arrested in Steel Industry Fraud

New York (Rooters) — Rooters has learned that hundreds of steel company executives will be indicted in what sources at both the US Justice Department and the SEC say may be one of the biggest acts of business fraud in US history.
According to the sources, authorities, acting on a tip from renowned metallurgical expert Rosie O’Donnell, discovered that fire could not melt steel.
“Who knew,” asked one SEC official who requested anonymity.

    WTC 7 was not hit by a plane ,the owner of the building is on tape as saying “lets pull it”.That is demolition terminology.The building fell in its own imprint,as did the towers?
    A plane ? flew into the pentagon ,but the plane and the hole don’t fit(not even close).I have questions about this that haven’t been answered yet.Too bad O Donnell was the one that brought it up,but it has been brought up ,lets see where it leads

    In this thread there is a link to the Popular Mechanics response to Rosie. Read it. Then, do a bit of google searching, and you’ll discover a Washington Post article written as the Pentagon was still burning, in which eye witnesses describe the plane. There were phone calls placed from that plane in the minutes before it hit.
    Rosie’s drivel? It’s no different than your own. Take a long hard look at her in that video. That’s you you’re looking at.

    I have been a weldor, arc & acetylene, since the sixties, and done a lot of construction work along the way.
    The structural properties of steels commonly used in construction begin changing ( degrading ) as you raise the temperature above a few hundred degrees, let alone over a thousand.
    A lot of these hilariously-misnamed “truther” types like to trot out “experts” with impressive academic credentials– who have never built a thing in their lives that had to support itself.

But knowing what we know now about what the Bush regime is capable of, is it beyond them to ignore suggestions that certain terrorists are planning an attack on US soil? Many Americans, American close to the Bush family, got very wealthy off of 911, both directly from the attack but also from the offshoots after the attack. After seeing the effort they went through to deceive the world go to war in Iraq, is ignoring intel. about an impending attack on US soil so hard to fathom?

    Your belief is based on lies. Read the 2002 NIE Intelligence Estimate and the Robb-Silberman Report. What part of slam dunk is it that you don’t understand?
    You can choose to believe that Bush would let an attack occur -and take all the flack he’s taken for not preventing 9/11- but that’s because you’re not bright enough to realize that if he had prevented the attacks he would have been such a hero that he would then have had the support to do what had to be done ( to take on alQaeda and prevent Saddam from resuming his development of nuclear weapons).
    Instead of projecting and making unfounded accusations against Bush I suggest you read McGrory and Bhattia’s Saddam’s Bomb and get a clue.

The far more probable state of being is that Bush is actually fairly intelligent (he did better than Kerry at Yale) but not near intelligent enough to pull off a conspiracy (the Libby case shows a tempest-in-a-teapot conspiracy was bingled) and Bush simply has different but honestly held views as to how to meet challeneges faced by the West. Bush;’s approach can be roundly criticized and I don’t think many begrudge that. Bush the rabid Bush hatred, to the point of believing he is at once hyper-stupid and hyper-intelligent is beyond just self-inconsistent.
