One who is thought to be so stupid as to not to be “able to find his butt with both hands” had enough insight to call this the GLOBAL War on Terrorism.
I believe that the time of real “push back” is not that far off. The losers will inevitability turn into whiney *victims*, but will include not just Islam and Muslims but all those liberal governments and organizations that bought the “peaceful religion” book.
Rhetorically, look around and then tell me. Who owns all the guns, the will to fight back, and the set of b**ls to actually do it? Conservatives or Liberals?
Fanatical Islam inflicts untold suffering on its own people, then commits untold suffering among other peoples, in the name of their suffering brethren. They invoke Allah and the Koran (incorrectly), and there is no point arguing with them on point. Even a bible zealot who shoots abortion doctors can use the good book (incorrectly) to justify murder.
Pacifists hate this one, but Robert McNamara argues that, sometimes, good men must do evil. Appeasement is not some uniting belief, it is the easy way out, because dealing with these nutbars requires us to make difficult economic, ethical and yes, military decisions. This article outlines very well the folly of thinking good will just prevail. Freedom is hard work, and Erich Frohm demonstrated how the German people “escaped their freedom,” by being complacent and, as the cited article points out, too busy. Sound familiar?
We are living the 1930’s again, what goes around comes around, again. I guess a 70 year interval shouldn’t be that surprising, it’s how long it has taken to forget the lessons of that period.
If the problem lies with Islam itself (and I am not arguing that you are wrong), what is the solution short of genocide?

Enough pain until Islam submits. In Japan, after the firebombing of cities and two nuclear weapons which enabled us to firebomb cities with only one plane and one bomb, the Japanese had enough. For Islam, ‘Enough of what’ is going to be determined by Islam’s pain threshhold. I’m betting it won’t be strongly worded letters from the United Nations.

Nothing new here just another reiteration of the mantra. The author is smart enough to steer away from the messy reality of the Iraq war because it doesn’t support his argument.

The Left is on side with Islamofascism on que with the old USSR. In 1979 when the mad Ayatola took over Iran and began to export terrorist organizations (hesbAllah) and train infiltrators, his biggest ally was the KGB. Russia is now trying to make an accommodation with Iran and a journalist was recently murdered who was about to expose weapons trades.
What every Canadian can do is ask or demand Ottawa stop allowing muslims to immigrate. That would be construed as racist however so the answer is to ask Ottawa to stop all open immigration. Canada should only allow immigrants who can speak an official language, have a profession or money.
All scientists are unanimous that population is too large for theglobe to sustain. Canada at least has a chance but we are bungling it by tripling our population in my lifetime.
Vancouver has lost its appeal due to the no. of people and we hear another million will settle here by 2050. With Vancouver 30% chinese, I think we have done our charity bit, now lets start thinking of Canada’s welfare
