Albatross lost all credibility with standard unjustified attacks on scientists dissenting from his faith, claiming they are all funded by (evil)oil companies. Several dissenting scientists have stated categorically that they have not received a penny from oil companies.
But by all means, let’s follow the money. The United States government is presently spending 3 billion with a B dollars on climate science and this money is directed by leftist politicians and a permanent left bureaucracy toward research proposals that aim to support the idea of man-made global warming. Anyone who writes a proposal where the research sounds as though it might debunk the Holy Script will be much less likely to receive funding. The puny millions that the oil companies have thrown into the pot can’t make a dent in the juggernaut of government funding that is every bit as biased.

Here’s another clue. http://www.realclimate.org is the site founded by Mann, whose hockey-stick graph has been throughly discredited (by Canadian Ross McKittrick et al) and who refused to divulge his sampling methods to other scientists seeking to replicate his results (a real scientific no-no on his part). He also sat on the reviewing committee for his own chapter in the UN’s climate report (not allowed in a proper peer review). I would think that regardless of where he gets his funding, Mann is a poor excuse for a scientist when he does not even follow basic scientific method and presumably his site is fruit of the poisoned vine.
