More researching needs to be done but it seems that for starters; Desmarais is Director/chairman of Paragesa Holdings which has a signifigant stake in Total Fina elf which did/does have a stake in 25% of Iraqi’s oil reserves. Desmarais was/is involved in the Paris bank BNP Paribas which handled the Billions in oil for food scandal $$s and is accused of bleeding off 1.4$billion to Saddam. Iraqi citizens have just filed a 200$million lawsuit against BNP and the AWB.
And yet all Steve Maich will allow in the Canada-Power-OFF-Scandal is that Maurice Strong(with connections to Power), has some answering to do.

I would want to take Maich’s word for it but quick googles have turned up a lot of contrary material. And not just from so-called non-Liberal sources. From the companys themselves.

If there is an opportunity in Arlington to explain that Islam is a religion that promotes peace and not violence and hatred, Jamal Qaddura will find it and use it.
Whether organizing an open house at a mosque, an educational forum or a community festival, Qaddura is always getting the word out.
This summer, he helped bring together local and federal law enforcement officials with leaders of the Muslim community to discuss concerns about new security measures and issues important to North Texas Muslims.
Qaddura, 43, was born in Kuwait. He came to Texas in 1982, when he was 18, joining family members who had come here from Kuwait a decade earlier. He attended Tarrant County College and became a businessman, exporting cars to Kuwait and owning an auto-repair shop. …-

An interesting fact is that the number one cure for Cancer is “Spontaneous Remission”. Some folks would call that “Miraculous Remission”. My prayers are with you Sammy.

The fixer is planning to put up a strong competative fight in all 308 ridings next election. Is he saying they haven’t done that before. So, how much money will he need to steal to buy Alberta. And why does TO always bash Alberta for voting 100% conservative, but they think nothing of voting 98% liberal. However, checking the votes in AB, everyone who doesn’t vote conservative would have to vote liberal, and they would still lose by over 5000 votes. Those wanting dion to win, must answer the question-how much trash will he bring with him, unless every MP and advisor who served under trudeau, chretain and martin is not allowed to run again. And where will he parachute in 103 women. The liberals are broke and have huge debts, so how can they fight an election in all ridings. They wont. It will be in Quebec and Ont only, and they will count on the sheep in the maritimes to follow them. If you want Bill C68 quashed, you must elect a majority conservative govt. You must do to dion what we did to Kim. This will be the first election the liberals have fought without being able to raid our treasury. Just wondering, who paid off all the leadership candidates debts. Dion never mentioned his dream team today on QP. And he still thinks his dual citizenship has disappeared as an issue.
