I mean, he had Stéphane Dion’s citizenship story up for many more days than the mainstream media paid attention, and now has posted a picture of Dion “jaywalking,” demonstrating that Mr. Dion prefers to walk rather than take a driver everywhere he goes? The wording of Mr. Bourque’s links are often brutal to those he doesn’t like, so I am curious as to whether the sentiments directed towards specific individuals is related to the amount certain parties pay him on an ongoing basis.
I mean, don’t you just love the way these Liberals try to look as though they just stumble over these “suspicions” on their own?

I agree Dion isnt his man in the sense that WK made him, but he is getting himself connected back into the Liberals in Ottawa and Dion would be open to him based on Chretiens backing.

So there’s an unremarkable photo of Dion crossing the street, nicely dressed, looking purposeful and perfectly fine. It’s a flattering shot. If he’s jaywalking, it’s the mildest form of jaywalking there is: note the stop line in front of the car he’s passing behind; he obviously crossed at the coern, as he was supposed to, and merely took a rounded-off turn at the other side. Warren Kinsella considers the photo to be a vicious smear against a decent Canadian.
It’s as if WK is unintentionally airing out the Liberal mindset in public. In his “I Seen Somethin’ In The Woodshed” piece in the NP he was pissed about the fact that there was coverage of a frankly quotidian, business-as-usual political topic, asking “Who had an obvious political interest in propagating the (dual citizenship) issue?”
What he doesn’t undertand at all is that there are millions of regular folks who never felt the slightest need to ask “Who had an obvious interest in promoting the BushHarper/ultra-right wing/un-Canadian/fundamentalist Christian/threat to Canada issue?” Kinsella never needed to ask either, and that’s what he’s revealing now — that having seen Liberal tactics from a very good vantage point, he assumes that the Liberals’ losing is the result of the other side using those same tactics.
Makes you feel dirty. Like a lot of Liberals, he just can’t wrap his head around the counterevidence to his unintentionally revealed tactical assumption: Stephen Harper became PM despite being comprehensively savaged by Lib-proxy reporters. It wasn’t the media that did the Liberals in.
So who was it. Good Canadians should ask themselves this: who had an interest in voting for Stephen Harper? The answer is not ominous, not to most of us.
