Is the new Saskatchewan policy to encourage immigration to the province to give away land and houses? First there was the land giveaway in Climax courtesy of the TV show Corner Gas and now this. How long before Saskatchewan revives the Homestead Act?
I still like Colby Cosh’s comment:
“The bad news is, someone’s eventually gonna have to tell him that he probably could have had an empty farmhouse in southeast Saskatchewan for the original price of the paper clip…”

Punching holes down by Shaunovon about 30 years ago and the directions were simple. Take the main road west until you see a tree and then head south until you see the lease.
He took a great idea and ran with it, hell I wish I had thought of it. Sure beats the hell out of house hunting in Calgary. Congratulations Kyle!
As one who lives in the area, all i have to say is that it’s better for Kipling to be on the map for this than for one certain (former) south african doctor named Schneeburger.

I have to draw a similiarity between the paperclip and the ‘wireframe’ paint job on the house in the background.

Years ago I sold a .375 H&H Magnum rifle to a nice young fellow from Kipling.
His first comment was “Wow! Now Ive got the biggest frickin moose gun in Kipling”.
Now I know the guy with the “biggest frickin paper clip in Kipling” as well.
