LOL. Well, full marks for making the effort to tackle English. There are some days when I can’t do as well.
Maybe they could “put on the dog” a bit with the menu descriptions, though. On second thought, maybe we shouldn’t go there.
If only they would put on the dog a bit. Now that spring is here, there seem to be altogether too many roaming the neighbourhood.
On the other hand, the number of cats around the new Chinese restaurant seems to be pretty low.
I should also say that to place your order, you have to point, since the waitresses speak Russian. She figures out where on the page your order is located, and then pulls out the Russian menu to figure out what it is called in her language. You just hope the order makes it to the kitchen properly, or you might be having the “boiled flesh” available on the next page. Seriously.
Since we’re on the subject of food, I have posted an entry regarding lunch today. (See http://www.farquhar.ca/blog/2005/03/food-again-ill-have-plov.html) This was a genuine experience which I am pleased to report has not required the corrective use of Imodium, yet.
