  1. Ottawa blocks RCMP on SNC-Lavalin inquiry

“Just_In” case you didn’t think the administration of justice isn’t being thoroughly perverted and brought into complete and utter disrepute.

This farce of a government have only one objective money, power and retention of same. The prime doofus should never have seated his vacuous posterior in the PMO.

Please excuse me while I gag and hurl at this clown car circus spectacle.

    Cheers

    1. He can do what he wants.

He owns the place dontcha know.

“This country, Canada, it belongs to us.”

“This country, Canada, it belongs to us.”

Justin Trudeau was interviewed on the Télé-Québec program Les Francs-tireurs (The Straight Shooters).

In the interview, Trudeau seemed to take aim at Alberta politicians, and argued Canada was better off in the hands of leaders from Quebec.

“Canada isn’t doing well right now because it’s Albertans who control our community and socio-democratic agenda. It doesn’t work,” Trudeau told interviewer Patrick Lagacé.

When asked whether he thought Canada was “better served when there are more Quebecers in charge than Albertans,” Trudeau replied, “I’m a Liberal, so of course I think so, yes. Certainly when we look at the great prime ministers of the 20th century, those that really stood the test of time, they were MPs from Quebec. There was Trudeau, there was Mulroney, there was Chrétien, there was Paul Martin. We have a role. This country, Canada, it belongs to us.”

      1. Yeah, right.

        CBC must go.
        Privy council must go.
        Public unions must go.
99.5% of all government must go. Services axed like lumberjack Olympics, civil servants fired by the hundreds of thousands.

What? You want limited govt, but cutting “services” is unacceptable? Let me know how that works out.

  2. IMO this is not an appropriate date to be calling the election, we all still remember the horror of 9/11.

However, Trudeau has now emerged from his meeting with the GG and is USING this date to go on and on about it.
What an opportunist ! I shudder to think there’s even a possibility he gets his arse back into power but I have no faith in the electorate of this country that elected him in the first place.

      1. Being tactless about dates is a Trudeau tradition. After all, PET tainted December 25 for many people.

Fortunately, it’s also the birthday of far greater men than Prinz Dummkopf, for example, Sir Isaac Newton and Hollywood actor Humphrey Bogart and I acknowledge that accordingly.

    1. And I have no faith in the PC party (yeah, I know; they supposedly dropped the “Progressive” but there’s scant evidence of that), should they win, to do anything more than a little tidying up for the next Liberal gang of thieves and dunces.
Let’s give Mad Max a chance to show if he is actually mad enough.

  3. Great Leader Groper reminds everyone during his speech, not to vote for Harper. And he warned us against balancing the budget. As far as Lavalin is concerned, its not his fault the RCMP can’t investigate him, its the fault of the civil service. Which is the same lie he gave at the very start of the scandal. Nice carefully selected crowd behind him. The muslim women wearing bags over their heads, is a nice touch on 9/11.

    1. Mine is up all year. I live in Rupert’s Land. That commie, ersatz Kanadjian rag will never fly on this property.

      1. “That commie, ersatz Kanadjian rag” is the Liberal Party emblem foisted on the country by the M(iddle) F(inger) Trudeau.

  4. This idea of electing a representative that travels two day by horses and a three days by train to a capital city to tell what we think in our village is so outdated. The era of mass production, mass media , mass marching crowds ( on a Berlin stadium) is over, so should be the mass government, massive taxation and massive election propaganda.. This is XXI century and when it comes to electing the government I am pro-choice. Everyone should have a choice to have a government that he/she chooses, preferable on the phone….and if you don’t like a minister , you just install a different app for environment, health or whatever ministry services you need.
btw…number of psychological experiments showed that a human being is not mentally stable enough to handle power, yet we often elect people with overgrown ambitions and limited capabilities , many of whom are messed up before getting into politics.

  5. I had a call last night from Ron Broda, the People’s Party candidate for Saanich and the Gulf Islands. Bright guy, ex cop running against Elizabeth May. This is probably the safest non Liberal, non Conservative seat in the country. Which Ron knows.

It occurred to me that there are a lot of us who, much as we are unimpressed with Scheer will be voting and donating to the CPC simply to get rid of Trudeau. I have the luxury of voting Peoples with no danger of letting in a Lib.

You might think about tossing a few bucks Ron’s way so you can help the Peoples Party in a risk free riding https://www.broda2019ppc.ca/

    1. Unfortunately, the result in your riding will be a re-election of Lizzy. In mine, ( Courtenay-Alberni ), there is a chance that the Green’s will pull the anti-Singh votes from the incumbent NDP to either win or allow the second choice Conservative to sneak through. Liberals are a non contending party here. Some blue collar traditional NDP supporters displaying their objection to Singh will likely vote Conservative over the Greens.

      i

      1. I expect that scenario to play out a lot in BC anyways, the 3 way leftard split of the vote, with the CPC running up the middle. Lib votes drained off, Dip votes drained and Lizard gaining votes equals CPC MPs. Watch BC this time round. There’s an infatuation with Lizard, and it will be at Meetheads, and Juthty’s expense.
This election, as usual, is all about Morontario and Kbec, and their dumb as a rock voters

      2. If you have PPC candidate – very likely – have the CPC candidate throw in with her/him and elect someone who will possibly make a difference. The CPC is just a placeholder for Liberals, so why elect them?

    1. I would love to see May defeated. However, in this rich, white, conservative riding the Green Party’s anti-progress/no change message is just what these people want to hear. I suspect Ron will do better than most people expect but this election is not the one May is going to lose.

John, I suspect you remember when the Reform Party won every seat on the Island except Victoria in 1993. And that was largely the result of blue collar people deserting the NDP. This election is more complicated. The Greens have a serious chance in five or six BC ridings.

It would be nice to see the Peoples Party run up some popular vote but not at the cost of Conservative wins. If Max campaigns hard there is every chance the Peoples Party will do well enough to be taken seriously but not so well as to give junior another chance to govern.

      1. Just an observation,,, The NDP have gone all in with AGW & Indian issues …They will run HARD against Burka May & her Greens (BC politics blunting). I would expect a lot of money & campaign activity in your riding by the NDP. CBC has already started pointing out May’s religious problem with abortion/gays etc Funny how CBC knows all the progressive’s fine points to hi-light

        1. The NDP are in real trouble, with Meethead, he is not resonating with the usual redneck union vote. Big mistake by the Commies who played identity politics and rolled snake eyes.
The Greentards do have some strength on the island, but is it enough? Not really, not beyond Liztards riding, but it will split the left vote. It will be great watching the leftard parties all trying to outdo each other’s nonsense. The CPC always maintains a good 30-35%, should be intriguing.
PPC at 1% is in Rhino territory

  6. This election is all about voting for Globalism or voting for Canada. There is only one non globalist party running and that is the PPC. We do not have four years to get it right. We have to get it right now or it will be too late. In four years under milkboy, we will be under the control of the UN. Please read the party platform and compare them. Then vote your beliefs. I have and I am voting PPC.

  7. As stated in the prediction thread, I foresee a chaotic outcome where the Andycons have a slight plurality but the sum of all leftist parts comes to about 180, but no stable coalition, quite possibly an NDP in disarray with leader outside the House resigning, Greens a little ahead of previously but still a small voice, PPC perhaps gaining a few (I hope for more but at the local level, many of the candidates are sure to underwhelm and we will be wasting days of the election talking about how the candidate for Moose Udder – Toxic Waste Ponds is actually a raging Nazi intent on invading Poland at the slightest pretext, overlooking the fact that we already have an essentially communist parliament. )

Plus ca change, plus I don’t have time to find the circumflex.

    1. Plus ca change needs a cedilla at the bottom of the c, not a circumflex anywhere……….. circumflexes go on things like A bientot….and Bien sur…… We should get fine details like that right or the Quebec PM will demand more equalization payments for the extra time instructing us all. 🙂

  8. Looks like good odds for a second lpc majority.
    http://338canada.com/

Talked to my aunt in ON, no way she is voting for; “that Bible thumpers party”.

Gonna pop over to the other thread and make my liberal prediction (sorry folks).

  9. In six short weeks we can FINALLY get rid of that open-borders fanatic masquerading as our “leader.” Yes I’m talking about Andrew Scheer.

Vote Max and tell the cucks to go pound sand until they get a real leader.

  10. Let’s go minority Liberal government supported by the lunatic NDP an Green Party. Let’s get this Alberta separation ball rolling! Go Justin and Jagmeet!

  11. Everyone keeps talking about a Liberal minority propped up by Greens/NDP, or a CPC plurality opposed by the same. Why not a Lib-Con ‘Grand Alliance’ like they have in Germany? They’re basically the same platform any ways. Would freeze the nutjobs out. I think it would be the best for everybody.

EDIT: I think the NDP is dying. I think they were dying even before the Greens appeared on the scene.

    1. Yeah let’s have a government like Germany, said nobody ever (well nobody without a gun to their head anyway).

  12. Listening to the local progressive propaganda station on Vancouver Island yesterday as they conducted a straw poll on a phone in show and the results were rather surprising. If I remember the numbers correctly it was PPC 4 votes, CPC 3, Libs 2 and the Greens 1. Wouldn’t want to extrapolate but it is something that makes you go….Hmmmm! Especially in the Saanich and Gulf Islands constituency!

    1. It would curious what CFAXs listening numbers are, I suspect it’s pathetic. Too many Victorians are government workers, retirees and Greentards to see results different than current. Although, I’ve outlined how the CPC could run up the middle elsewhere, Whactoria will elect Lizard, the fag, and a Dipper in and around the core. Too many progs here to overcome.
The rest of the Island stands a good chance at the 3way split on the left

  13. So far Scheer has successfully got the second longest sound byte on global News anyway. They gave Trudeau a bit longer for his whole Rideau hall speech but then setup Scheer’s presser about SNC lavalin. If the strategy is remind voters about SNC for a couple weeks and then start hammering policy I’d say he could win.

  14. I wonder how many Canadians will lie when the pollsters come calling.

I think I’ll tell them I’m voting Rhino!

  15. Am I the only one who thinks that wonderboy has been abandoned by the “elite” of this country? And by that, I mean a lot of influential people seem to have lost favor with his eminence. I see it in almost all press coverage he now gets. (I might say that it is substantial relief from the incessant fawning we endured for almost, what, three years?) Something has changed.

What has changed is most likely that he crossed a line on SNC Lavelin that he shouldn’t have. Whether on principle (my hope), or on fear of repercussions being unavoidable and substantial, the power elite in the media are increasingly distancing themselves from his fading star.

    1. I just heard tonight that Max Bernier is getting larger crowds than Trudeau. Somebody is not talking. (MSM)

I saw that Nick Nanos was lying for the Liberals tonight with Lisa Laflamme. Lisa is tongue tied sometimes so she needs to have a chat with someone every night. Guess its lonely at the top, eh Lisa. Lloyd Robertson must be cringing at home. Not good for the good honourary Dr Laflamme.

It is going to get stranger and stranger as the time passes because the CBC commentators like Chantal Hebert and Andrew Coyne were making funny faces tonite as if they were annoyed as they were discussing the Liberals. Not good.

  16. Just a thought.

If the NDP leader ditched the turban, the mushy headed voters that helped the Sockmonkey become PM would look at Jagmet and think he was Aquaman.
He could seal up the soft headed vote in the liberal safe seats.
If his diaspora gives him a hassle he can say that in Canada no one should be told what they should or shouldn’t have to wear blah blah diversity.
