India’s infrastructure requirements – an eye-opening reminder of the world’s staggering demand for all energy sources

Anyone working in Canada’s petroleum sector, from production to transportation to final distribution, is at least tangentially aware of the scale of global demand for petroleum products (just as anyone living within sight of Vancouver’s growing coal export terminal is at least tangentially aware of the global demand for coal).  But even with that knowledge advantage, it is hard to appreciate how much energy is required to put it all together. 1. Ah, but according to Mo Strong, the west has to have its industry destroyed in order to save the planet…. and, I’m sure, make the west cheap enough for his beloved China to buy.

But, we’re not in an economic war. Nope, nein, non….. uh-huh…..

  2. It isn’t India I’m worried about. A free, prosperous India will only be a threat to the Muslims that still plague the subcontinent. Hindus have no reason not to repay their Muslims for centuries of oppression and atrocities. Muslim “Pakistanis” and “Bangladeshis” have no future in a united, Hindu India, and deserve none.

India has no interest in conquering the west, much less dominating the planet. China does. India is understandably determined to get to the point where China cannot defeat and conquer India in war. What’s our excuse?

  3. Self indulgent article focused more on the irrelevant author’s own ignorance and surprise. “Geez, India is a real big place and needs roads and energy.” FFS! Virtually no information of any value presented.

    1. so twatt, not every one needs to be spoon fed like you BIP, is a middle of the road on a world scale assets managing company the big players have 6 to 8 times BIP’s assests and india has a I billion possible customers for any business, which is why the Turd’s eff up over there was so troubling

      1. Why are you so full of hostility towards me? Why not just comment on the article and leave out the name calling?
