  17. So why doesn’t the Chi police charge the Nigerian brothers? Smollet maintains he’s innocent so take him “at his word” and charge the brothers. The police have plenty of evidence of their involvement, sworn statements, a video showing them buying the items used in the hoax and if I understand correctly they found items used in the mail fraud charge so charge them and THAT would force Smollet to the stand. If nothing else that would put pressure on this corrupt prosecutor to drop THOSE charges.

    The police also knew that “Smollett cleared of all 2 charges” gave Smollett more credibility than “Smollett cleared of all 20 charges”.

    You don’t get off 20 charges just like that. Either the police are completely incompetent, or the prosecutor is on the take.

  29. Keep an eye on the career choices of Tina Tchen. Don’t be surprised if she takes a position in the Kamala Harris campaign. I’m not buying any Obama connection. Axelrod was highly vocal in opposition to the removal of charges. Arguably, he shouldn’t really care or be so verbose unless there is something going on a little deeper. If Tchen moves to the Harris circle, then you can infer that Smollett’s actions coincided with legislation Harris introduced. So there is no way they could let that go to any sort of discovery process. Tchen moving to Harris would be a betrayal of sorts (especially if Biden announces his candidacy and names Michelle Obama early as his running mate). I’m convinced that will be what happens. Biden has already implied that he would only be interested in one term as president. He has, also, said he would depart from the usual process and name his running mate early. Stacey Abrams was a red herring in that regard testing through polls to see how having a black female running mate would effect the black vote. Barrack Obama has said in the past that Biden as president would be the same as a third term. But, this is Barrack Obama. Why only a third term when he could have a 4th and 5th. He’s just watched just about every “accomplishment” he had in 8 years get flushed in less than two. If you think a spiteful narcissistic like he is doesn’t want to turn that around, you don’t know Barrack Obama.

    Sounds far fetched, of course. But, let’s just watch what happens next.

    Bonus: I think Smollett is obtuse enough, arrogant enough, and stupid enough to try and pursue libel and slander civil suits on this whole matter.

    1. I don’t care much about the players, “so what”. I care about the game. This is how the Left controls the narrative. In this particular case they have are pushing the narrative that someone wearing a red hat is to be considered more dangerous and reprehensible than black masked ingrates committing actual violence. They have been successful at that. If you followed this story, “so what” you might have seen the leak by a police officer on the case who said that when they told Smollett that they had two suspects, he immediately said he would do his best to make sure they were held and processed for the crime. The little bastard was perfectly ok with sending two innocent people to prison. Of course, the officer then told him that the two suspects were his trainers, and his demeanor was less giddy.

      I care about blind justice. Today, Smollett’s charges were dropped when they shouldn’t have been. Also, today, the congressional aid who doxxed three republican senators during the Kavanaugh Hearing was given a similar gift of no charges, and minimal supervision. A little while ago we watched Bob Menendez walk on a slam dunk case. He was re-elected to office. We see Charlie Rangel chugging along after obvious violations of the law. We see Hillary Clinton get out of obvious violations of Federal statutes. We see Rosie O’Donnell brag about breaking the campaign finance law without repercussions.

      I care about the game. Because the game is rigged.
