“Could I get a technician in here to pull his mic?” asked Liberal chair Wayne Easter as Conservative vice-chair Pierre Poilievre remained in high dudgeon.
What are the Liberals afraid of? I think we know. They don’t the truth to get out.
They are afraid:
a) that the corruption in Quebec will become common knowledge in Canada.
b) that the Liberals efforts to pressure JWR to let SNC off the hook will be fully exposed. That’s why Turdeau won’t release JWR from solicitor-client privilege.
c) that the Liberals attempt to interfere in the Mark Norman trail will be exposed. Just like the distruction of documents that occurred in the Ontario gas plant scandal, document distruction is going on in the Norman case.
Butts said he did nothing wrong. Then why did he quit? Must be to try and hide Turdeau’s wrong doing. How soon before we hear the line “I am not a crook”?
On the first day Turdeau specifically said the Globe’s story of pressure being applied to JWR was false. Two days ago the Clerk of the Privy Council said pressure was applied. So who is lying?

What a convenient co incidence that the NEB issued their report “approving” the pipeline yesterday. Now could we have an enquiry to establish whether they were “pressured” to release this. Within the article the police report that their investigation into the Danforth shooting is complete (after 7 months) but they haven’t released any details.
And of course they refer to the terrorist as a “gunman” and the terrorist attack as “a mass shooting”.
If there were 50 “mass shootings” a year in Canada (one a week) by legal gun owners people would be marching in the streets. If it was all caused by “mental illness” hardly anyone would stop marching to ban guns. But it would also mean that .0025% of the gun owning population had a mental health issue. I would say that’s a pretty low rate compared to the rest of the population.

Out and about, I never even consider gunplay even though it happens in my neighbourhood, but I am vigilant about vehicles when I walk the streets, especially in downtown Ottawa.

The article mentions nothing more than an amalgamation of several regional Real Estate Boards. I doubt that US or British Web based realtors entering the Canadian Market makes any difference in the status quo.
The law is that all realtors must be licensed in the province where they are listing a property for sale or selling a property. Otherwise if they have business in another province, state or country where they are not licensed, they must refer the business to a brokerage in said area and obtain a referral fee, a.k.a. ‘a quid pro quo.’
The only time one may sell Real Estate without a license is when one sells one’s own property. In the business it is known as a
F.S.B.O. or a.k.a. “for sale by owner.”

Opponents of the Trans Mountain pipeline were quick to cite a potential 7-fold increase in tanker traffic should the pipeline be approved. While that may be accurate, what they failed to mention is the increase would mean going from 5 tankers a month to 35 (420 annually). What is completely absent from their condemnation of anything oil, is the recently announced increase of 2,700 annual sailings by BC Ferries, from 79,082 to 81,782. Where’s the outrage over that statistic?
From the party of “Budgets will balance themselves” comes the oxymoron seven fold increase in tanker traffic. The Trans Mountain Pipeline will increase capacity by 300% but the increased tanker traffic to transport this capacity increase will required a 700% rise in tanker traffic. The only way that this is possible is if the tankers are only half full when they leave Vancouver.
Plus ‘not socialist’ 8 billion in subsidy to farmers…
