      You do know that capital punishment in Oregon is carried out with lethal injection, yes? They kill people with needles there.

          People “with” polio, tuberculosis, and ebola are beyond help with vaccines.

            However, if you wish to argue that government shouldn’t force vaccines that is fine. But then you must accept the risk of passing on polio, tuberculosis, etc. Vaccines limit the occurrence of these diseases. Do you not care about preventing their spread? How would you prevent their spread?

            No. People who do not get vaccinated against polo take the risk, if the polio vaccine is efficacious, then people who get the vaccine are not at risk.

            Yes I care about prevention. Mandatory vaccination is government overreach. Governments killed 200 million of their own people in the 20th century. Governments today are pushing the global warming hoax, UN Agenda 21, and advocating drastic population reduction. If they get the power to enforce mandatory vaccination they will use it to kill people.

            Some people can’t get vaccinated. When enough people are vaccinated, it is much more difficult for disease to spread.

            You did not answer my point about quarantine. Would you allow governments to quarantine? For Ebola for example? Or for a new version of the Spanish flue?

            Totally agree that governments, most of whom are socialist, have killed over 200 million last century. Saying that mandatory vaccination would be used to kill people is quite a stretch. So much easier and cheaper not to vaccinate wouldn’t you think?

            Enough? What does that mean?
            Quarantine is not the issue at hand but I will tell you what I think of quarantine. I think even the people who have HIV and Hepatitis should be quarantined, however, just as I believe in capital punishment, I think that the government we have and the people who comprise the citizenry are either too corrupt or too complacent to be permitted to have such powers.

            Lastly, killing people with vaccinations is not a stretch at all. The global Elite want to reduce the world population by about 8 billion people. Leaving that to the happenstance of some simply not choosing to vaccinate would be woefully inefficient. Rather the global Elite will develop a killer virus, let’s call it Captain Tripps, that has a lethality of 99% and the Elite has a vaccine for that which they give only to the Elite and all first responders, cops doctors, Elite soldiers, etc. and then mandate that everybody else lines up to get their “shot” and everybody else gets the Captain Tripps virus instead of the vaccine…

            Joe, if you don’t know that people like Bill Gates have been going around giving speeches on population reduction to U.S. University Elite crowds then you aren’t equipped to have this conversation with me.

  2. There are many things which have contributed to the improved health of our nation during the past 100 plus years. First was clean public water and improved sewage controls, second was vaccination and third was improved dentistry. I would like to also say that the advent of the car reduced the piles of horse manure on the streets which improved sanitation. Even when my daughter was young in the early 90’s, there were idiot mothers who did not vaccinate their children because they thought it caused autism or that they could rely on “herd immunity”. My daughter received ALL of her vaccinations and their updates.

      Here’s the rub, even if some of these kids die, or are scarred for life by the possible serious secondary conditions measles can cause, the parent won’t second guess their stupid vax decision, at least it’s not autism……..
      Different story, same topic, poor parenting resulting in the kid paying for it (not vaxxed, a tranny at 5?, gawd!)

      Anyone asking questions is simply shouted down.
      The main point of the anti vaccers seems at least to me that the epidemic of the last 30 years, in increasing numbers of neurologically damaged children ,[male vs female 5:1] is being ignored by everyone in power whether political, media or media in spite of disturbing evidence tieing at least 40% of neurologically damaged children to the role of vaccines.
      Why should there be any need for having Vaccine Courts in the first place where the billion $ payouts are funded not by pharmaceutical companies who develope & sell vaccines but the taxpayer?
      Anyway, in the worst case scenario, it is the parents, not the shouters down who will have to carry the life long burden as caregivers if there is any truth to the claims by the CDC researcher whistleblower, Doctor William Thompson who claimed that the MMR vaccine is associated with a 340% increase in autism in African American children.

And even if there was compare the numbers, or is it that for people like you, those with permanent damage and/or death be preventable disease deserve less consideration, because the latter number is much greater than the former number. So fools like you deserve to be shouted down, the truth has been out there for a long time.

          If your science is so sound, so fantastic & secure how about you give even one double blind experiment showing the safety of vaccines where the control group [not the vaccine group], isnt injected with a solution containing those safe neutral adjuncts like aluminium ,polysorbital80, fetal DNA or mercury?

    I remember asking my parents what life was like when vaccines were non-existent or in limited use and diseases like polio were still rampant. Their answer? Terrifying.

    It seems like we have lost our institutional knowledge of the past and are now condemned to repeat it.

    1. I once had a conversation with an elderly lady who was a nurse at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in the 1940s and 1950s. She said that every summer, the wards would be overflowing with polio patients – many didn’t make it, and of those who survived, many were left with life-long disabilities. The next time you encounter an anti-vaxxer, show them a picture of an iron lung and explain what it’s for.

  7. In a hospital waiting room I saw posted a couple of period newspaper reports from the early 1950s showing the number of Albertans who died from polio and measles. The numbers weren’t insignificant. If the people who don’t vaccinate are relying on the herd immunity of others that sort of breaks down when they leave the country.

    as far as autism is concerned, in balance it did me a great deal of good. inordinate hyper emphasis on exacting interpretations of things dovetailed perfectly in the age of computers.

    as far as polio is concerned, my mother got the non-paralyzing type days after I was born. I left the hospital before she did. Providence saw fit to pull me from the precipice at a few days age. I acknowledge that here as I have in numerous venues live and online.

  11. I’m just saying, when I was a kid almost everyone got red measles, mumps and chicken pox. Wasn’t fun but no one died or suffered after effects from it. Other illnesses like diphtheria, scarlet fever and polio were a different scary story. I am not against vaccination, however, I’m thinking we may be over vaccinating.

  13. When I was in Afghanistan in 2010 I had a discussion with an American SOF major on this topic. We had a debate about the ability of government imposing a law requiring children to be immunized (he was for, I was against). My premise was that the government had the right to make a law requiring all students be immunized in order to matriculate, which would protect all the students. However, if parents decided to take the children out of the school system they shouldn’t be compelled to inoculate their children. We had a good discussion and it boiled down to the title of your post. Essentially, if parents were too caught up with what some Hollywood bimbo says about vaccinations versus what the pediatricians and all the combined scientific history of vaccines from Edward Jenner (developed the small pox vaccine) to present…then God would literally sort them out.
