More Pavilions At Folkfest

We have heard in the past about UN declarations being merely “aspirational.” As it turned out, they have become much more than that.

Former Conservative Immigration Minister Chris Alexander was just on John Gormley Live, globalsplainin’ how Canada should sign on because Louise Arbour wrote it, and how could that be bad?

He actually said that.

  1. “Former Conservative Immigration Minister Chris Alexander …”

He’d fit right in with Scheer’s sheep.

    Go Max!

  2. Alexander was a globalist toady when he was in cabinet, and remains so. Not a surprise.

Harper made some truly awful cabinet picks at times.

  3. UN today is more of an enforcer of every idiotic ‘ism one can imagine.
The SJW’s, assorted do-gooders and other such bring up the proclamations of the UN as though it was a law and everyone nation should submit.
If Canadian pushers sign, which they will do, this sophisticated nonsense, the air head will use it as an argument that this is what the UN decided and we should not do things against the wishes of the UN.
That the UN resolutions have no force other than blow of hot air, does not matter to the ideological demagogues.
This is another one of little bit by little bit the little dictators, they will screw the freedom of everybody until one day people wake up and it will be too late and tyranny of paper pushers will rule.

Have experienced that many years ago at work after the pogroms of reengineering. If you had an idea or objected at a meeting you may have been told that those are the rules and that’s that.

This is what happens when the ruling class rulize (sic) everything, as though no one else has the capacity to decide for one self or an independent group.

    1. “UN today is more of an enforcer of every idiotic ‘ism one can imagine.”

If it is an “enforcer”, it’s certainly an incompetent one.

  4. The UN cannot make anyone do anything. Only sovereign states can do that.

All the more reason to send Our Dear Leader packing in the next election!

  5. Many people will recall that Chris Alexander was one of the 13 (14) leadership candidates running against Andrew Scheer. Those who got to see Mr Alexander in one or more of the leadership “debates” would not be surprised if even more people had no recollection of his candidacy at all. Chris Alexander could have run for any one of the three major parties or for all of them at once. The man had been a diplomat, and his views and style were those of what was then known as DFAIT, a body that hugs the UN more tightly than BC Greens hug trees.

  6. I’ve never had time for Alexander… glad he lost…. he wanted to increase immigration when every poll suggests Trudopians are against the number of immigrants we have now and an even larger majority of Trudopians do not want those numbers increased… I guess Trudopian opinions don’t matter to Mr. Alexander… perhaps Mr. Alexander should drop the pretense and embrace JTurds anus the way the Media does… JTurd will absolutely sign on to the Globalist population replacement agreement… if it hurts Canada his handlers will impose it and JTurd will happily continue in his role as a sneering preening half-wit adored by woman and millenials cheered on by the taxpayer funded JTurdMedia.
