  2. I read in an earlier article in the news paper that the victim showed the video to the Toronto Police Service and they responded by asking her “well what do you want us to do about it?”

        1. The police should be made to answer this then. If they were aware of the first assault and looked away then they are in large part to blame for this recent assault. They knew this guy was dangerous and did nothing about it? Not acceptable! But who’s going to ask the tough questions? Is there anyone in Toronto’s local media that’s willing to question the police?

            deciding what to look at.
            thus far they’ve only told me why they WONT look at a video.
            the list includes theyre ‘too busy’ and ‘it might not be any good’.

  12. If you are going to protest, please bring several video cameras, and have them running all the time. Before this man-child attacked the woman, he also tried to tear up several signs. He also wrote on the signs with permanent markers, and defaced the backs of people’s clothing with the markers. None of that is on video, because the victim didn’t start taping until after the initial assaults were over.

    Always have a camera running. If possible, have another discreet camera filming from an overlook position too. If a mob attacks you, the camera and camera person will be a primary target. Yes it is boring, but it may determine who goes to jail after you are attacked, you or the violent scum?

  13. To most people, even to an important portion of non-liberals, if they did not see it on the 6 o’clock news, it did not happen, it does not matter.

    I have been trying to wake people up for about 15 years, it is pretty much useless, you can show them solid evidence, if their favorite news anchor does not confirm it is real then to them it is not real.

    1. Lev, perhaps it’s just a matter of a formality. The areas in which the police decline to act falls into the areas where the public is then permitted to take up the slack. So, if the police clearly see this is a crime but choose to not see any role for themselves in addressing it, they can defer to a helpful citizen group to take up the charge with impunity.

      That’s where the abdication of responsibility and the abandonment of the enforcement of the rule of law will lead to whether there’s a “formality” regarding it or not. Then again, it may be that the authorities are setting up the conservative citizens to have to act in response to police disinterest … which then provides the pretext for a supreme hammering of any and all conservatives; the leftist wet dream.

        There were instances, so many that it seems to be common, where the victims upon calling the police were investigated and charged, leaving the aggressors free as though its easier to charge the victim with something than the perpetrator.
        As everyone knows by now it is 20018, things have changed, truth and justice are not what they used to be.

And Kennedy Stewart, until recently a Member of Parliament and now leading Vancouver mayoral candidate also got nothing after being arrested while ‘protesting’ the TMP project. As long as you’re doing it for Gaia, you’re untouchable.
