Ying Ma moved from China to inner city Oakland, California when she was 10 years old. She is well qualified to paint the full picture of the rampant racism occurring at Harvard:
Richard Jenkins, an 18-year-old from Philadelphia, made national news recently when he was accepted into Harvard. As a child, he battled poverty, health problems, and homelessness. He decided to focus on his studies and believed school to be his path to a better life. When it came time for college, Harvard sent him an email encouraging him to apply for admissions. He did, and was accepted on a full scholarship.
I grew up in inner-city Oakland, California. I arrived at age 10 from Communist China without speaking more than a few words of English. Battling poverty, racism, and crime was a daily routine throughout my childhood and adolescence in America.
I graduated from high school with a 4.1 GPA and solid SAT scores. Harvard did not try to recruit me. No Ivy League university contacted me except for Cornell, which sent me a giant brochure without much of an explanation.
I am Asian. Jenkins is black.

She learned in a classroom funded and built by the collective peoples of the State of California. She was given a laptop by the government. She ate free lunches and breakfasts paid for by the people. Who does she think is responsible for her success!? The people. The collective. The State.
Hah! And here she … thought … she had fled a repressive Communist country …
You gotta be tough to grow up as an Asian in inner city Oakland. It’s possible Jenkins had the qualifications, but I am not betting on it. There’s one other problem with Ms Ma – she’s likely to badmouth communism instead of idealizing it like the other idiots. I’m sure the faculty doesn’t want that sort of sedition and thought crime going on.
Ying Ma, you don’t need government largesse which is a specialty of Democratic / socialist politicians. You don’t even want it. Thus, you’re not a reliable voter for Democratic politicians. The success of socialism, like all collectivist systems, is based on bribery but, in socialism, it uses other people’s money gathered by government mandate. You won’t be bribed so they don’t want you.
Being accepted into a prestigious school like Harvard is a significant form of socialist bribery. This bribery is akin to what the Bolsheviks promised the Russian peasants vis-à-vis the Russian farm owners.

When I immigrated to the U.S. as a teen, with my parents, we lived with my uncle and aunt (in their flophouse) in Watts, one block from the Watts riots flash point. My parents sent my brother and me to a Catholic school in Long Beach, far away from the, even then, disaster of a high school in Watts. AFAIK, I was admitted to UCLA (hence the moniker) based purely on academics, with no positive or negative effect based on my ethnicity. Luckily, Asians were such a small minority then, that having 5% of University of California admits for a population of 1% was not yet seen as a problem. We moved away from Watts in the summer before my junior year, and avoided the riots several years later.
Leftists prioritise things to make themselves appear more “progressive”. This is why Americans and Canadians of Asian extraction are treated thusly. Fairness and practicality have nothing to do with it.
Silly Ma, doesn’t she know that after the rootless, international, cosmopolitan elites who run Harvard and compose 67% of their graduates are done putting blacks on a pedestal and stomping the whites, the Asians will be next? This is just foreplay!
Actually, in the current racial spectrum, reading left to right, left being most preferred, you have:
Muslims (I know, Muslim is not a race, but it may as well be, Arabic is representative anyway) Latinos, Blacks … Asians, Whites.
The ellipsis denotes a huge gap between Blacks and Asians. But if you are black and off the plantation, you probably belong on the right side of the ellipsis.
For religion, it’s Islam, atheism, Eastern religions, Christianity, Judaism (Judaism is last to accommodate Islam).
For sexual preference, most likely trannies, pedo, bi, lesbians, gays, straight. But if bestials ever organize, they would be first on the left.
