   When the Conservative’s get elected they should move it to a prominent location and triple its size.    last evening on the news here near Montreal ( on French speaking tv ), they showed Justin shedding a tear at the ceremony where he apologized to native indians for some bad thing that happened before he was even born.
   He also asked that the pope apologize for what some Canadian Catholic people did to native indians almost a 100 years ago.
   He is such a faggot and an extreme social justice warrior, he is the white version of Obama, he thinks his main job is to apologize to the rest of the world.
   I am disgusted by Justimbecile Trudeau.
   I threw up a little in my mouth when I saw he shed a tear for THAT!!!

9. For my 2cents, the problem wasn’t the location or subject, it was just damned ugly. Also, it doesn’t belong in the new location.

    These Liberals who profess to love Canada actually don’t love anything about Canada. Listen to Justin’s speech on aboriginals and he goes on about Canada being open to different paths coming from all over the world and that this is a great thing.

12. Off topic but probably worthy of a new heading is the fact that the Ontario gas scandal just hit the fan, so to speak. This is going to be bigger than the Adscam inquiry. I’m instructing my broker to buy up beer and popcorn futures, and also oil and poultry futures because when the LIV (Liberals in Vaccuumland) realize how they have been screwed by the Provincial Liberals in Ontario and the Federal Liberals in Ottawa, there won’t be enough “tar” coming out of the oil sands or feathers coming out of Canada Packers to meet the demand. I’m waiting to hear the Liberal heads implode, this is going to be such a show for the next few years. No wonder the “Red Star” cancelled comments yesterday.

15. The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC was not paid for with taxpayer money. The Wall was built using privately donated funds, as should this monument be.

    Clearly, the goal of Jr’s regime is to remove every trace of influence of the Stephen Harper government. He has a childish obsession with the previous administration and is determined to make Canadians forget it ever existed. It’s easier to tear down others accomplishments, then initiate clear, positive policies of your own.

20. IF the New Liberal gov’t DOES decide to build this monument, they’ll probably built it WAY way out somewhere people will forget about it completely. I suggest Algonquin Park, on walk-in only site.
    AND, just to make matters even better,they will contract with a Liberal-friendly Quebec contractor who will jack the price up until the final cost is about ten times the original estimate, or more.
    Whatever the Libs do, I hope they won’t build it in a city where it will be the target of SJW vandals every day of it’s existence, and we will be on the hook for security and cleanup.
    Maybe Education departments in all Provinces should be encouraged to have a couple of lengthy chapters in their history books on the travails of communism.

God) was very upset with the very idea of this monument and so were the Media, the NDP and of course the “Liberals”, the country belongs to them so the victims of communism can suck it. I do like how the “Liberal” idiot says the monument was “too divisive” LOL… That “divisive” excuse was used when the “Liberals” were unilaterally changing the flag of Canada (Red Ensign) to the liberal party logo Maple Leaf flag… “Liberals” declared that a referendum on whether they should be allowed to change the nations flag would be too “divisive”, so the “Liberals” changed the flag unilaterally without the consent of Canadians which apparently ended the “divisiveness”… same goes for the Trudeau Charter, no need for Canadians to have a say in unilaterally changing the way the country is governed, best to impose the changes without Canadians consent, as seeking consensus from Canadians would be, too divisive… “Liberal” logic… I guess whatever the “Liberals” decide to unilaterally impose, or dispose, no matter what it is, one can rest assured that because “Liberals” are doing it, it won’t under any circumstances be considered, “divisive”. Isn’t Trudopistan awesome… no divisiveness, just oligarchical rule.

26. After the Liberals study this file the monument will suffer the fate of the gazebo dedicated to Mordecai Richler on Mount Royal which after at least four years has yet to be renovated. Richler despite having been Quebec’s best known writer was hated by the French media lbecause he pointed out that Quebecois are provincial, racist and thin-skinned.

29. More clarification and back peddling from the minister today. The budget has been cut back by $3 M, now government will only match what the private sponsors can raise, the design has been scrapped and a new one has to be commissioned and the time frame has been set back to allow for more consultation.
    Obviously Liberals do not want such a monument, it is unlikely ever to be built. McLachlin and the rest of our elite betters can relax now. Odd how this woman can interfere in what would be Heritage Canada or Public Works with impunity, but would go ballistic were anyone to interfere with her judging.
