The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said it has invalidated 33.5 million renewable-fuel credits sold by an Indiana company for biofuel it didn’t produce, the fourth time the agency has alleged fraud in the program.
The filing today follows fraud charges filed against the former owners of the Indiana-based E-Biofuels LLC in September. The U.S. Justice Department accused them of falsely claiming its products qualified under government incentives for renewable fuels.
… Before today’s action, the agency had said three companies produced a total of 140 million fraudulent Renewable Identification Numbers, or RINs.
The basic credit for ethanol last sold for 28 cents. At today’s value of about 40 cents each for biodiesel, the RINs affected by EPA’s decision would be worth about $13.4 million.

The comments on that post are fantastic, more in the sense of unbelievable. A guy finished a project for an agency in two weeks so they asked him to go over it again, twice. Then they actually gave it to someone else because the project was alloted 6 months. A woman working as a police office clerk was told to slow down for working too efficiently. I knew government was wasteful but I thought it was more for lack of interest and energy than an actual ambition for being slower. This guy at the EPA was accomplishing just as much as anyone else there if not more. Get him into the IRS and responsible for going after Canadians with US citizenships who have never worked there please.
Seriously, I supported privatizing most government agencies before, now it seems like a complete no-brainer even for police. I remember a Reason video of a guy who was helping city and town governments out in doing that kind of thing and he said he wasn’t sure about where it was going because you got the same level of government for half the cost – he thought it would be hard to convince anyone to actually reduce the scope of what it does after that.

Killing is too good for him.
Put him in a jail cell with a big, hairy, sweaty, smelly, Nazi skin headed, gay, homophobic,(yes Matilda, there are some queers that hate queers,) nicknamed Brutus Barbarossa.

He may go to jail for defrauding the agency of lots of money for pretending to be something that he is not …. but why aren’t any of them going to jail for the global warming fraud that has cost the word probably about a trillion is lost wealth and tons of misery to come as there is not enough electricity for all.

We reckoned about thirty years ago when the federal civil service was expanding – almost entirely administratively -that only between 15% and 25% of the personnel was needed to perform operational duties.
The rest were surplus to requirement.

So lying, swindling, spewing bald-faced lies and recklessly squandering the taxpayers’ money while working at the EPA — okay, that part I get. But I still don’t get what he was busted for?????

But my favorite story of all the AGW/CC scam has to be when the Mafia was caught defrauding the European Carbon Exchange of over a billion Euros.
