August seems a tad early for the NHS winter crisis but, apparently, it’s never too soon to start warning people not to use their health service. To be fair, we only spend £136 billion a year on it and they have got one of the world’s biggest bureaucracies to look after, fleets of luxury cars to subsidise for staff etc, so it would be entirely unreasonable to expect any treatment. You do have to marvel, though, at the brass neck of those who are planning a campaign which will urge the public to avoid A&E
I had an interesting conversation the other day with an acquaintance who retired from the RCMP a few years ago. He’s been doing some contract work auditing medical expenditures. Apparently one of the things the bean counters are quite proud of is all the money they saved the system during the lockdowns.

THIRTY YEARS AGO I said you had better be very well off financially, or have a best bud/close family member in healthcare, who knows what they are doing to advocate for you. Technology and science have made vast improvements in healthcare, unfortunately bureaucracy is destroying everything, including healthcare.
As Eric Hoffer has pointed out, many worth while causes turn into businesses and eventually turn into rackets.
It’ not just delays in diagnosis and treatment. Pathology and cancer care units in my province are being flooded with far more than usual bizarro new cancers they don’t normally see, cancers that were in remission that have suddenly gone turbo, and cancers in young people they don’t normally see.
The mRNA vaccines cause cancer. Let me repeat that. THE mRNA VACCINES CAUSE CANCER.
“The mRNA vaccines cause cancer.” Absolutely. That is exactly what is going on, but don’t expect acknowledgement from the medical community at this point. They are too busy still pushing their poisonous vaccines.
Considering one of the most promising areas in cancer treatment is immunotherapy, where a person’s Tcells are genetically engineered to fight a cancer they know they have, it is more likely that rather than “causing cancer” the mRNA vaccines allow rare mutations that are usually easily handled by a person’s immune system to instead grow and spread as cancer because their immune system has been genetically engineered to focus on the spike protein at the expense of everything else.

Steakman, I always read your posts. The old saying about leading a horse to water comes to mind. Thing is, a lot more people now know about the injuries but they’ll never admit that they were wrong to trust an untested product all because they wanted to travel, go to events and restaurants etc.etc.
As we all know, the right to freely travel is in the Charter– undue encroachment on our Charter rights is what’s happening. The so called plandemic has ended and these many superspreaders have big enough regrets about taking the jab. They have medical issues. No apologies from these people will be forthcoming. They are suffering in silence with pain.
Btw– recently FNC Host Dan Bongino said that his biggest regret in life was, in fact, getting the jab.

Well, this is not your Father’s healthcare profession. We can deduce from the botched Covid response and the bizarre gender mistreatment of young children that something has gone terribly amiss in the healing professions.
I watch Dr Drew; he is chagrinned at what has become of his profession. He has struggled to articulate an explanation for doctors failing their patients over covid. His panel discussion, with Drs Mccullough and Victory, was helpful and got a lot of attention. Today he will host Dr Victory and Naomi Wolf.
Years ago I read a book on agricultural aid the the third world. In a discussion on the use of economists there was the comparison that “In the 1500’s the doctors also came in by the tradesmen’s entrance”.
Seems like they’re aiming for a repeat of that status
Personally I list Britain’s cult like pride in protecting the NHS instead of allowing the NHS to protect the people as one of the most revolting aspects of this entire Wuhan Flu experience.
And they were PROUD they had protected the NHS by not actually using it.
The entire purpose of a medical system is to provide medical services to the population, and when you are openly a NATIONAL service your job is to protect the NATION. It is not making TicToc or pinning badges on each other.
What would you rather have? A big shining undamaged hospital surrounded by fields of dead, or a burnt out shell being rebuilt by survivors?
The NHS should have been run into the ground if it meant reducing illness and suffering. Hospitals can be rebuilt. Dead people can’t.
