    Aiding food or water to the Protesters will get a cop in trouble…to the full extent of the law.

  8. The liberals used the pandemic to suspend our rights and charter freedoms, they collude in dark rooms with the NDP to spend our money and further erode our human rights. Not one thing Trudy and his bag boy NDPer what’s his name have done has been done in public or in parliament. We have a right to know what they are doing behind closed doors, now they are attempting to make free speech a hate crime online if we dare speak or challenge Dear Liberal Leader. We need to stop Trudy and his attempt to criminalize online content that challenges his reign of terror.

  9. Protests all across Alberta today, there’s a link to one up in Drayton Valley on Citizen free press. Whoever’s doing it is talking about a nonconfidence vote against Kenny? Is that occurring today?

    1. That came up in another thread today. I texted my MLA, inquiring about a vote, he came back almost immediately & told me that it wasn’t true.

    2. there’s at least one regular on here who claims to get the inside poop from the UCP caucus, and he has more than once in the past two years written on here that “Kenny is gone by the weekend”. Obviously his intel is crap. But it’s probably just an act to stir things up. @Dumb Biker, I’m not talking about you. Moreover, you do get actual intel from inside the caucus, apparently.

      I don’t know what Kenny has on his MLAs, but so far it’s keeping them compliant.

      1. I don’t know about actual intel. I ask questions, I get answers, most of the time. Isn’t that how it should be? There have been questions in the past that I’ve asked & couldn’t get an answer to. Sometimes I get an answer later on because he can’t comment on the issue at the time, which I (grudgingly) understand.

        I’m actually pretty happy with the relationship I have with my MLA. I don’t agree with everything he says and I certainly despise his lying boss. The night we got locked down again I immediately let him know that the Liar Kenney’s actions had just cost him 6 votes. He wasn’t happy, but neither was I. I read of others on this blog who don’t even get the courtesy of a response from their MLA & I just shake my head. If that happened to me, by the time I got finished shaking the tree they’d want to move to another ED, if not quit politics entirely. These people work for me. They need to accessible.

        As far as the Liar Kenney, he threatens their job if they don’t toe his line. You’ll get pulled off responsibilities that pay extra salary. You’ll get backbenched. I know for a fact of one person who has experienced both of those. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out there are threats of expulsion from the party. The Lying Kenney is a dictator and he has many who follow his example. For instance, the Asshole Doug Schweitzer from Calgary, who called out my MLA for representing his constituents and attending the protest in Coutts last weekend.

        There’s an ongoing power struggle between the rural & urban MLA’s in the UCP. Right now there are more urban MLA’s & the Liar Kenney kowtows to them. That’s one of the reasons we got lied to & backstabbed with the second lockdown. Many of the urban folk pissed & moaned about lockdowns & they got them. It sure as hell wasn’t the rural MLA’s who wanted them.

  10. Winnipeg cops on arrest and charges against Jeep attacker. No attempted murder because, I assume, no one seriously hurt [3 treated and released on-scene; one treated and released at hospital] and said the guy had been running a red light/s earlier so just a traffic accident and not terror I guess. No name released yet to check his background to see his politics because charges not yet formally laid, either that or they’re scrubbing his social media.

Us LOLbertarians have been screaming about this from the top of our lungs for decades, and the funny thing is, you will still not listen, and are happy when the guns are pointed at people you don’t like, whether they are dangerous or not. Like pot smokers raw milk drinkers or small alcohol distillers or whatever.

  12. Some years ago I edited a history book. Pierre Trudeau and Arthur Erickson, I was told, partied here in Mazatlan Sinaloa Mexico with other expats. I was provided stories of their adventures. Sadly they were not included. They may well have changed history in Canada.

    2. Bilingualism and multiculturalism are definitely communist divisive tactics, but it was sold so well.
      Any wonder why we are where we are at today? People actually believe in the expression “diversity is our strength”. These are the same people who want us locked down and masked.
      Pierre hated the Yanks, but his communism was subtle, they even gave it a name – Socialism.

    Either way, he’s right about Russian methodology and “western” leaders have adapted it.

    1. I agree the whole thing was odd. Who knows what the truth is. I probably would have been a bit sceptical about internal subversion had I heard what he had to say at the time; not that I was a true believer in government like most Canadians, but I certainly didn’t know then what I know now. Anthony Sutton’s “The Best Enemy Money Can Buy” certainly makes sense, in light of the past 30 years.

  15. Just walked through the remaining protesters, er, partiers at Bloor/Avenue on my way home from work (around 5:30pm). It’s not the *most* multicultural scene for this city, but it’s definitely not an all-white affair. Got to say it’s kind of nice to see black, brown, Asian and white people draped in the flag for the protest. No counter-protesters that I could see.

    If anyone’s curious about the honking, while I wouldn’t want to live in John Tory’s condo around which a bunch of trucks are parked and honking still, if you get a block away it dissipates pretty quickly. After about one block, the police helicopters are the loudest thing you’ll hear. On Reddit, Ottawa people were warning us that we’d all need earplugs to sleep. lol.

    What this reminds me of most is seeing people waking home after an early season Leafs or Raptors win.

    On the other hand, walking around other parts of the city, people are masked up like there’s some kind of imminent Andromeda Strain threat. I suppose that is their symbolic counter-protest gesture.
