    1. From Vlad Tepes.

” […]Aviators approaching within a mile of their carrier “call the ball,” a radio transmission indicating they have spotted the “meatball,” a nickname for the visual reference used by pilots to keep the proper glide slope during the approach to an aircraft carrier.

As the F-35C pilot neared the USS Vinson, he “called the ball,” but also said he was experiencing sudden and intense chest pain, as if “someone hit me with a baseball bat.” The Landing Signal Operator aboard the USS Vinson noticed at once that the F-35 was above glideslope and would miss the wires. He ordered the pilot to “wave off” just as the pilot’s crackled voice said on the radio, “Fucking vaccine.” The pilot had barely enough strength to eject safely, though several boatswain’s mates on the flight deck were injured when the plane struck the deck.

The pilot was recovered and taken to medical, where a physician determined he had suffered an acute case of myocarditis, or inflammation of the heart muscle, a common and potentially deadly side effect of Covid-19 vaccinations. The USS Carl Vinson, a Nimitz-Class carrier, has a fully functional medical ward on its 2nd deck, complete with diagnostic equipment, including CRT and MRI scanners, found in contemporary hospitals.

The pilot, current condition unknown, got his booster shot aboard the USS Vinson 72-hours prior to the accident. He had no comorbidities, and passed a medical examination on 9/5/2021. “

    2. I would think the Chinese already have every piece of tech on the aircraft. Don’t really need to race anywhere to it as it has been given to them by Americans.

        1. It’s the engines.
They are having a hard time mastering the construction of the turbine blades.
Jet Turbines are incredibly high tech.
Use exotic metals ,ceramics and are difficult to manufacture.
Even the Western manufacters like GE and Rolls Royce have a high rejection rate.
It’s just that they can manufacture in volume and charge enough to justify the high scrap rates.
The Chinese aren’t there yet but give them time….

    3. That’s what you get with China sourced components.

You guys are never happy. The F35 has had a safety record second to no other fighter in development, deployment.

      Don’t believe me? DROR

  1. The nation China. While completely incapable of creating or inventing anything themselves, are very adept at stealing.

      Science and Civilisation in China
In 1948, Needham proposed a project to the Cambridge University Press for a book on Science and Civilisation in China. Within weeks of being accepted, the project had grown to seven volumes, and it has expanded ever since. […]
The first years were devoted to compiling a list of every mechanical invention and abstract idea that had been made and conceived in China. These included cast iron, the ploughshare, the stirrup, gunpowder, printing, the magnetic compass and clockwork escapements, most of which were thought at the time to be western inventions. The first volume eventually appeared in 1954.
[,,,] 27 volumes have now been published. Successive volumes are published as they are completed, which means that they do not appear in the order originally contemplated in the project’s prospectus.

      Needham’s final organizing schema was:

      Vol. I. Introductory Orientations
Vol. II. History of Scientific Thought
Vol. III. Mathematics and the Sciences of the Heavens and Earth
Vol. IV. Physics and Physical Technology
Vol. V. Chemistry and Chemical Technology
Vol. VI. Biology and Biological Technology
      Vol. VII. The Social Background
See Science and Civilisation in China for a full list.

        1. Don’t underestimate them.
They have a manned space station in orbit and have landed a rover on the moon.
I think they have something on the go with Mars.
It takes good math to figure that shit out, so they ain’t dummies.

Plus they make most of our consumer goods whether we like it or not.
Have to grudgingly give them props for that even if they did steal the tech.

      1. I’m not referring to their history. I’m talking about what they’re doing nowadays. Perhaps you’ve heard about it?

      2. The Chinese invented chop sticks, and still mostly use them even though we’ve shown them how to use a knife & fork.

        1. Or, as Tony Soprano once said, it’s not possible for the Chinese to invent pasta as one needs a fork to eat it.

  2. “Her” day? …

They safely ejected and were recovered by a military helicopter, Pacific Fleet said. The pilot is in stable condition

What an odd pronoun to use for a single-seat fighter jet pilot? I’m starting to believe the pilot might be a “transitioning” her

  3. Somehow, I don’t think that neither Harmon Rabb nor Sarah McKenzie is going to get her out of the resulting court martial.

As for China being interested in the plane, it had a chance about a year or so ago when one flown by an experienced Japanese air force pilot went into the drink. I don’t know if he and/or the aircraft were ever recovered.

  4. I’ve seen several reports that the pilot had received a vax shot three days earlier and was encountering a health difficulty while attempting to land. Somehow that isn’t mentioned or countered in the lamestream media.

  5. When Bill Clinton was President they tried to make a woman land on an aircraft carrier while a large crowd of people and important people were watching.

The female pilot crashed and DIED…in front of those hundreds or thousands of people who were there to be taught the lesson that “ anything men can do, women can do, and can do better“`

Well the frog that wanted to be as big as the cow exploded…right?

    Need I say more?

I saw the video of the crash on “ the PBS news hour with Jim Lehrer “ many many years ago, and then never heard a word about it anywhere since.

There is a reason most pilots are male, why most race car drivers are males, it is called biology.

    Men and women are different.

PS: at the link to twiter it says the pilot was female…

    1. Well, if Jeopardy has anything to teach us, it’s that a woman can do anything and break through any record or ceiling.

If she used to be a man.

  6. “The Chinese military will want to reach the fighter jet first in order to harvest “all the secrets behind this very expensive, leading-edge fighting force.”

Why would the Chinese do that when they could just buy or deal “the latest greatest” from the Taliban?

      1. Biden father and son or Diane Feinstein have surely sold the blueprints to China years ago,

and I am not even joking.

  7. Lockheed-Martin putting a make-up mirror on the flip down visor was not the best idea.

  8. Sometimes the comments here exceed the provided story for entertainment value.

We are friends with a couple in the US we met while we lived there. He was a fighter pilot, in itself a very expensive asset after all the training. His career ended when a wonky pitch hit him in the eye during an on-base baseball game while he was stationed in Japan. His eyesight never returned to the necessary 20/20.

    1. Not a woman but a man.
Had the booster shot 72 hours prior to the crash.
Suffered an acute myocarditis attack while landing.

  9. That F35 was sunk there on purpose to let the Chinese get the technology. After the Clinton administration gave the Loral missile technology to the Chinese, this can be the only possible explanation. Our governments hate the west and want it destroyed.

    1. What I always assumed about that downed helicopter in the Bin Laden execution. Pakis sold that directly to China

      1. Yes, I found the circumstances around that helicopter “crash” convenient as well. But no worries, it was blown up by the special forces as they left. The circumstances get more strange as most or all of Seal Team six that participated in the raid were killed shortly after in another mission where their helicopter was shot down.

  10. Missing an important point here – regardless of the Jab theory, Naval aviation is DANGEROUS.

Landing on a small metal deck that is also in motion is NOT SAFE. It is reduced risk because the people involved go to great effect to train and practice to the highest levels. The fact that incidences happen so rarely is a sign of the quality and professionalism of the men and women involved.
