It’s not “Insignificant”

It’s hard to find pictures that accurately show the true scope and size of what’s going on with the convoy. This is the best one I’ve seen so far. It’s from yesterday at literally the centre of Canada. Zoom in and scroll around.

This is only one convoy. There’s another one coming in from east and who knows how many more coming in from all directions. It’s something the likes of which we’ve never seen before.

  1. Glorious.. Absolutely glorious.. To watch our truckers demanding a end to this nightmare.. They are our only hope.. Everybody else has failed us..

    1. You speak for almost all of us, John.
That last part is enough to make a grown man cry!
The rot and corruption is so insidious, if it weren’t for this Pandemic we wouldn’t even have realized how deep it goes.

          1. Yup. Did you see it on her blog? She is like a Kate of Aussie land.
Oh, and I always enjoy your comments.
            Keep on keepin’ on

      1. You’ve nailed it. We saw much of it (corruption) before, but each time it was about to surface, a distraction was created. The media are complicit and showing their true colours too. The worldwide swamp needs to be drained! God Speed to all those wonderful truckers who are standing strong for our rights and freedoms!

        1. *blushing* …awww shucks 🙂 Did I see it? DID I SEE IT?!! I’ve e-mailed it to every member of my family… LOL!
I’ve admired Jo Nova (no, not that way…well yeh, that way too) for a long time. Started reading her opinions back in the early days of the Global Warming crap. You’re right, an Aussie Kate!

    2. Check out “Tireroasters Garage”. He is following the convoy and posting videos daily. Here is day one (for him).

      https://youtu.be/A88a2li2KsA

Search for “Tireroaster’s Garage”. You might have to also enter “Canada truck convoy” when searching.

Great visuals (there’s one at night that’s out of the final scene in Field of Dreams), unbelieveable the size of the crowds and supporters along the sides of the road, plus great rock music!

No doubt about it, THIS IS BIG!!!

    3. Bravo to ALL those Canadians who came out to support the truckers. It’s almost as if the people in middle-Canada are a Freedom-loving people who refuse to accept the bootheel that’s come down on their necks.

  2. Hmmm, I’d rather swear faith to Bubba the Trucker than the Turd, or Pinky, or even Max.
    Hip Hip hoo fuckin’ Ray.

  3. When they’re done with Trudeau, I hope they have a a little extra time and money to sort Quebec out I mean, isn’t it the crux of the problem?

  4. I spent a chunk of the afternoon on my hands and knees making a banner to take to an overpass tomorrow.
Look for me on one of the thousands of videos flooding the internet. I’ll be the one holding the FREEDOM banner. ; )

    1. From little spot in Ontario: wife picked up card board today, kids are making posters tomorrow and we are all going to send off our local area’s convoy on Friday morning bound for Ottawa.

    2. Seams Right,

Hope you while you were working on your masterpiece, you managed a few silent words asking to keep these brave Canadians safe too.

      Wave that BANNER proudly!

    3. Good for you.One of the most heart warming video clips I saw was one woman standing along in the middle of nowhere at the side of the road in blustery winter conditions with her sign and Canadian flag. I had my sign at one of the first overpasses outside of Vancouver that the truckers passed. Haven’t felt that proud to be a Canadian in a long time.

  5. In the words of Robert Hunter, “Truckin’, like the do-dah man
Once told me, “You’ve got to play your hand”
Sometimes the cards ain’t worth a dime
If you don’t lay ’em down.”

  6. I wonder if the government will order blockades?
Also, the convoy will be arriving in Ottawa when Parliament is set to resume.
Will Blackie delay that, declaring it to be too dangerous?
Will he have a motive to declare martial law?
My fond hope is that the convoy succeeds and becomes a larger catalyst, as it is doing now. Many people coming out in support are those who have been, in effect, coerced into the vaccines for various and sundry reasons.
    We are many.
I pray that we are about to see a change because of Solidarity trumping Tyranny.

    1. There is no martial law in Canada. The truckers could shut down Canada easily….simply stop all deliveries in and out of Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. Bring them to their knees.

      1. For every road into Ottawa, a couple of big old trucks might “just run out of gas,” or have flat tires, etc. Or doors open and load spills onto street. Stalled, and blocking traffic. Likewise on main arteries inside Ottawa. And on bridges into/out-of Quebec. To/from airport. Several stalls outside of CBC offices, etc. Stalls across train tracks. Traffic blocked, gridlock, tow trucks can’t get through, nor police cars, etc.

        1. Yup, a lot of mystery breakdowns going on. Hope our trucker friends have decent weather while they are trying to fix their rigs.
Might take 5 or 6 days to effect “repairs” if you know what I mean.

    2. On gab someone posted a list about 50 messages from all over the world encouraging the truckers .Someone from Australia said they were going to do the same. Its making headlines everywhere but in Canada.

  7. I was in Dryden ON today. there were vehicles and banners for at least 2 hours, that I saw. traffic was backed up as far as I could see (less than 2km to the nearest bend) but could not swear there were signs and banners all the way to, or beyond, the corner

  8. Wow! Lucky for me, I have a 33″ monitor!

Just finished watching CTV (fake)news’ “reporting” of the upcoming events this weekend, and as we all predicted, they’re making the truckers all out to be extreme right-wing, racist, domestic terrorists.

All during Bell’s “let’s talk” day. Yeah, I’d like to “talk” to Bell media, about how much money did they collect exactly from the government to put that false-flag reporting on their “news” broadcasts.

    1. Man, I hope that the media loses absolutely all credibility with the vast majority of Canadians over this.

      1. This from the National Post: The remarks, and calculations, by Matt Gurney, are pathetic. Are the “elites” the only ones who can pronounce on the mandates and lockdowns or offer solutions? Shaming the truckers and their supporters could backfire, big time.

“One of the principle organizers of the convoy – a group known as Canada Unity – have published a bizarre 15-page “memorandum of understanding” laying out their roadmap for how to overturn Canadian COVID-19 restrictions. The document offers to halt the convoy in exchange for the Senate and Governor General forming a “Citizens of Canada Committee” which will then decree a permanent end to “all Federal, Provincial, Territorial, and Municipal Vaccine Passport requirements.” A cursory analysis by National Post columnist Matt Gurney declared, “It reads like something a couple of 14-year-olds would write up in a fanfiction approximation of what they think a historic and profound document should read like.”

On the other side of the coin, supporters have been guilty of wildly overestimating the size of the convoys. One viral tweet claimed the convoy now comprised 50,000 trucks. For context, the Coquihalla Highway – one of the busiest trucking corridors in Western Canada – typically sees a maximum of 10,000 vehicles per day, including passenger cars. The typical tractor trailer is also 23 metres long. This means that for the 50,000 statistic to be true, the total convoy would be 1,150 kilometres long if parked bumper to bumper – roughly the distance from Edmonton to Vancouver.”

        The media are our enemies.

        1. They are not all together, nor are they all single file, nor are they all semis, many are small trucks, cars, etc. So trying to calculate their total length is a pointless exercise, just go out and cheer them on for pete’s sake

        2. Just one point… many of the convoys include pick-ups and yes, even automobiles, not to mention tractors unhitched to trailers. That could throw your length calculation off by just a tad, but maybe you’re right. 50,000 vehicles does sound like a bit of an exaggeration. I guess we’ll find out Saturday just how many do show up.

  9. You know what is missing? News teams. Television reporters.
Other than our guys (Rebel, et.al.) they are conspicuous by their absence.
I read one report from a convoy member that he had not seen a single news team on the route. One person’s perspective, but you get the point.
Yet some hippies blocking a bridge in Edmonton or 15 BLM supporters in Red Deer or a couple dozen Natives protesting the cause de jour get national coverage for weeks on end.
But the biggest protest in possibly the history of the world? Nada….crickets.
How can the media ever live with themselves? Surely SOME of them must have gone into this business at one point in time wanting to report, rather than lie by omission?
Oh, we have JT and Jagmeet talking about “hateful rhetoric,” but not one “journalist” in the room asks for a specific example. I guess imagined, non-existent hateful rhetoric is more important than real hateful rhetoric directed at, say, Sir John A or Queen Victoria.

    1. Go to Yahoo Finance and search on who owns all the media companies in Canada. Or better yet who owns most of the publicly traded companies in Canada, and the US.

I’ll save you the trouble and give you the answer: the banks, and the private equity companies like Blackrock, Blackstone, Fidelity, Vanguard, and State Street. They own everything.

And then to add a special lustre to this stranglehold, all these entities in turn own each other’s shares; the Japanese have a word for it: keirestsu — an interconnected conglomerate of corporate ownership.

Your “news reporters” are just salaried employees of this financial blackhole.

The blackhole owns everything, and controls all the puppets in governments everywhere.

Perhaps the “lowly”, independent owner-operator trucker is the one uncontrollable cog in this elitist, rarified, monopolistic machinery of control. We shall see.

    2. first timer,

The MSM doesn’t need to speak to any participants, or go to the locations, as they get all of their “news” given to them. What isn’t handed down to them, they sift through slimy social media posts and dredge up the most vile they can find to quote, in order to show how (insert nasty label) “these people” are. Has been that way for the last 2 years at least!

Legacy media is dead. They just don’t know it yet.

    3. Pretty sure he meant all the “F*CK TRUDEAU” signs.
      Joke i saw yesterday…
      “A true story!
Justine says to Sophie “I think they all want to have sex with me”.
Sophie replies ”Oh sweetheart, that’s not what Fuck Trudeau means”

    4. The only hope is international media. There’s still some real reporters out there. The government parrots here are pathetic losers who absolutely abhor freedom.

  10. It brought a tear to my eye to watch this display of public support for the people against the folk in power who have been shutting down the economy and ruining lives for no real reason at all. We are a bit better here in Texas but it seems as if there has been a run on cat food and some paper goods, who knew.

  11. well the Jagging his meat, and McTurD’Oh are the people’s choice, as they voted for this!

    1. That’s the question.
Did we really vote for The Black Turd or was he installed with his puppet regime.
Much like the pResident Pantshitter In Chief who won the most votes in history, all 82 million of them .
All done by campaigning from his basement lair.
      It’s a miracle I tell ya.

      1. Turd didn’t exactly win, per se, it was status quo, thanks to Moronto, Ottawa and Quebec. Aside from Vancouver, the Liberals have little support from Abbotsford/Chilliwack, through to Western Ontario.
He is still vulnerable to defeat, it’s only the corrupt media that props him up enough. Without their Payola, he’s toast. Maybe they will be shamed by the outside world reporting this.
        The Whole World is Watching!

  12. In Ottawa there was an advance pickup truck (or a local on board) and their truck was all done up with convoy giddy-up today at 430ish.
    Maybe scoping things out?

I hope they’ve got a lot of shitters rented!

  13. I heard a rumor that Trudeau has called for the Oriental Sword division of the PLA to assist in quelling the coup. (Okay, I started the rumor)

Omar Alghabra was quick to blame any grocery store shortages on “the small percentage of truckers” who are participating in the convoy. He and three other Liberal MP’s are on the media telling lies The Trucker’s Alliance are on side with the Liberals, but I don’t know how many truckers they represent.. O’Toole is dead meat as leader of the CPC if he doesn’t greet the truckers, even Andrew Scheer has stated he will greet them when the reach Ottawa.

As the old song goes; this may be the start of something big. Wish I owned a big rig and knew how to drive it.

    1. Omar Algebra is just another lying liberal POS. But he doesn’t actually count, so feck him.

    2. Don Morris,

I have made small business sized cards to place on empty grocery store shelves when I shop. Mine include a picture of Black face and his pal Butts. They say “I DID THIS!” With an arrow for emphasis.

They can also be made with post-it notes, (bonus that they come in fluorescent colours).

A simple “THANKS FOR NOTHING. . .TRUDEAU” would be effective.

We can all do our part to support the truckers, a subtle reminder to other shoppers that Trudeau is behind this madness.

  14. I hope nothing bad happens, but I honestly think Trudeau will Ashli Babbitt a few dozen protestors to demonstrate what he thinks of us.

I hope I’m wrong, but his othering language is damn frightening.

    1. That all depends on his RCMP , OPP and military quislings having the balls to stand down.
I know the Ottawa Police will NOT follow orders to shoot.
It just takes courage to say NO.

May God guide their thoughts and actions.

      1. The RCMP are deeply corrupt and no friends of ordinary Canadians.

The OPP. Well, Caledonia. Nuff said. Corrupt and politicized through and through.

Don’t count on either of them. A few individual officers maybe, but no more than that.

    2. Totalitarians are the most dangerous when they feel they are starting to lose control over the narrative, so please say a prayer for the Truckers that all will go well on Saturday, and while you’re at it, the country could use a little grace as well.

      1. Fc- I agree with you. I am grateful for what they are doing and fearful of the cocquences if the government is successful. Some politicians are coming out to support them. It is up to us to pressure them in any peaceful but firm way we can. I was at one of the rallies and I no people were planning to show up at politicians offices on the 29th to apply pressure. Phone calls and letters (emails) could also help. Let us do our part. They are very aware that the press is the enemy. I was shooting videos and was approached several times to check if I was media. First time in my life I went to a rally. They are good people, we need to support them and they make me feel proud.I really believe if the government subverts this it’s the springboard to a new country.

    3. The Whole World is Watching.

Trudeau is too stupid to understand that. Does he really want martyrs?

Covid didn’t kill them, but Trudeau did.

  15. In the Great Nexus to be joined this weekend on the Rideau
Where the Producer at long last confronts his Thief.
    The contest is Canada’s Soul
It is Her Soul, yes, Her very Soul that lies in jeopardy
Whether to live as a Free People, pursuing the Happiness They have wrought by their own Works
Or to suffer the Iron Heel and Contempt of the Tyrant, forever.
Forbid it, Almighty God. Forbid it!
Instead, let peal the sound of Liberty from all the towers and ramparts of this mighty land
Heard by all thy Patriots’ Sons.

  16. FYI, looks like a Saturday January 29 visit to Regina legislature is on. Saskatoon folk, grasswood departure 0900. All vehicles welcome. Hope to see you there!
    Tom

  17. Being realistic here. What can JT do? He has no international respect, Biden and China crap on him at every opportunity, at least half of Canadians despise him and the other simpering half would turn on him in a flash if their self interests were threatened.
Every cop in Ontario is facing a crisis of conscience; one of their own has already thrown down the ‘To Serve and Protect’ gauntlet, calling the truckers “Heroes” if I recall correctly. Her ‘bosses’ are making reprimand threats…cops always stick together. Are her fellow officers going to say she’s wrong, the truckers are terrorists or something? If they agree with her stand, what? they’re going to turn on the truckers and their supporters, in front of international media?
This is simply a no-win situation for the shit-disturber-in-chief.
This is the perfect time to demand his resignation. If that wimp O’Toole had an ounce of political gumption he’d be doing that already.

  18. I support the truckers unreservedly, but why-oh-why do they use facebook, twitter youtube and gofundme. Wake up, its obvious they will censor you, there are other options nd it is about time we all used them.

It was good to see Kate post at GETTR as Katewerk, but posting has been limited thus far.

  19. Our prime minstrel has declared this convoy to be a small fringe with unacceptable views.

    1. I think you meant to say “our small, fringe prime minstrel with unacceptable views has declared a convoy”. There!

  20. Leaning on IDIOT TRUDEAU.. is a good thing.. We do need another election to remove this abomination..

    1. Yeah John, and elect WHO exactly to replace him? Out of all of them, the only viable person is Max.
If only we could all vote individually for our choice of a prime minister, without voting for any party.
I would bet that Max would get the most votes. and Yeah, I know, I’m dreaming!
