I smell another $100 ethics violation fine…

A story that started out as just the government giving money to a friendly firm has grown into something much more. Political intrigue, personal relationships, and apparent benefits from being very close to Justin Trudeau.

It turns out that the firm at the centre of a controversy on Parliament Hill hasn’t just been getting taxpayer dollars from federal coffers, they’ve also been paid to help Liberal politicians from the Ontario treasury.

Data Sciences Inc., a firm owned by a close friend of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, was contracted by the Ontario Liberal Party and paid hundreds of thousands of dollars via taxpayer funds over a period of five years.

Data Sciences is owned by Tom Pitfield, one of Trudeau’s friends since childhood. The firm’s former president, Azam Ishmael, has been national director of the federal Liberal Party since 2017. He also held various positions with the federal and Ontario Liberal parties on voter identification and digital platforms.

Many, many years ago, I was told by someone who worked at the time in a certain national security agency that a certain national police force had “proof” that a certain prime minister and a certain clerk of the privy council were raging bisexuals. Or homosexuals. The point is that they were raging. Together. Naturally, I have no idea whether this was true or not, but I do know my source was a serious person. After so many years, I have not been able to get that sickening image out of my head. Now you must all suffer with me.

  7. Nobody who voted for the smug prick gives a shit. Anyone who voted for him twice is actually expecting to get their share. Ottawa is over-full with these bastards. Just look at the “consultant fees” that have risen 6 billion in the first six years of the Liberal reign. That ain’t chump change. When the next election is called the power and influence of these people will come into play.
    Everyone who votes Liberal has one hand in your pocket and the other around your throat.

  10. Read ” A History of Booze in Western Canada” if you want to know how this country works. Politicians and judges were bribed as a matter of course. Especially senators. The money funneled east just as it does today.

    I have a buddy who started his career working for Revenue Canada. He was doing an audit (late ’60’s) of Cominco (now Teck Resources) in Trail, B.C.. His team was finding lots of red flags and outright fraud. His boss in Ottawa called them up and told them to box everything up and send it to Ottawa. He said nothing ever happened afterwards. However, we did nail a bordello operator for tax evasion. Shut her down. I am sure they weren’t popular in Trail.

  12. Anything shady,or against the rules outright mean nothing in the blinding shininess of Trudeau and his Liberal cabal.
    We have no power to do more than yak about it. Neither do we have opposition in the funny farm called house of commons with the NDP acting as kissing cousins voting to keep themselves and the glitter bugs in.
    We are screwed, get the tee shirt.

  14. This is just confirmation that the only sin the liberals recognized after Adscam is that they got caught and it was because of a leadership rivalry.
    So now they have measures in place to maintain plausible denial with a army of paid soothsayers and any rivals for the big chair are summarily dismissed (ex: Jody Wilson -Reybold) or kept on a very short leash (Freeland)

  15. We have been conditioned to think these sorts of things are normal and are greeted with shrugged shoulders. At some point we will have to do the hard work to fix it. It may be able to be fixed by intelligent voting now, but those days are numbered.
