This looks like a very misleading report. It only covers the C-SPAN live stream.
It appears that the Democrats did better on their opening night (We’re definitely talking about quantity, not quality!)
(Reuters) – A total of 15.8 million people watched the first night of the Republican National Convention on Monday, according to early Nielsen Media Research, tracking an event held mostly virtually because of the coronavirus pandemic.
That number reflects the audience across six TV networks between 10 p.m and 11 p.m. EDT on Monday. It does not include online and streaming viewers. An updated figure, which will include viewers of additional networks, is expected later on Tuesday.
Networks CBS, NBC, ABC, Fox News, MSNBC and CNN averaged 18.68 million viewers during the overlapping hour of coverage beginning at 10 p.m. Monday, according to The Hollywood Reporter, a 28-percent plunge from the opening night of the 2016 DNC.

So where are those numbers? And btw…I’ve been told Amazon Prime did not have the RNC convention available on their platform, but they did for the DNC. Weird huh? I wonder where those viewers went?
2 million. hell just look at Rush’s daily listeners. 2 million is the bottom of the barrel.
Heck, Art Bell would regularly get 10 million listeners. Joe Rogan gets that number darn near every day.

Looks as though roughly 20% of registered voters watch the convention coverage.
But viewer numbers means diddly. It doesn’t mean that every one who tuned into the DNC were democrats and vice versa.
