    1. My variation on that was something I heard about from a contractor I shared an office with many years ago. It’s called the GAF Index, where GAF = give a ****.

With regards to Canada’s Olympic “I’ll get rich through endorsements after I win my gold medal” athletes, I have a very low GAF Index.

  1. No programming, no ad revenue. Looks like the Liberals will be the only ones paying the piper (media).

  2. Mass games are best left to Red China’s north Korean comrades.

I’m more than okay with this. That means Canadians won’t have to watch “their” athletes embarrass themselves.

  3. Far too soon. No reason to do so at this point. Other than to further hard sell corona porn.

  4. Gold medals for everyone!! I think Trudy McBlackface should give them out to every single canadian. I call it the progressive gold medal system. Why should only athletes that are the very best and have worked their entire lives be the only ones to get a gold medal? It’s so typical of a capitalist system set up to oppress those that didn’t win the genetic lottery. It just doesn’t seem fair to me.

PS: you can’t pick more than 2 disciplines to get gold medals in. Any more than that and it borders on being greedy and vain.

  5. The boys at the IOC must be pissed at the thought of cancelling. No payola.

Corruption top to bottom. It’s all about stealing the money. Don’t buy the the crap about the olympic ideal, pure sport, goodwill etc.
Doping, cheating and judges on the take. That’s the olympic spirit.

The athletes for the most part are well intentioned. Pawn on the chess board.

    I preferred the Playboy Olympics

  6. Not a hard decision considering there will likely be very few airlines left to move people around.

  7. The International Olympic Committee should be jailed on corruption charges of course.

But then move this circus to Greece permanently so it doesn’t have to annoy the planet all the frickin’ time. It would be good for Greece.

  8. Only 3 trans won’t get the opportunity to win a gold then. I would have expected the number to be higher.

At least 3 transgender females could be among 11,000 athletes in Tokyo
