  1. Accepting asylum seekers other than US for citizens such as “Chelsea” Manning likes on the US border is stupid. If they need asylum, the US should grant that. If they come asylum shopping to Canada, it means their case is a very weak one, and they probably should be deported right away. On their own expense of course. Enough of this migrants become asylum seekers become migrants with anchor babies and destroyed papers.

    I’ve been lied about asylum seekers for 30 years, I know I’ve got enough of it now.

  4. So are we to expect the RCMP to send these “irregular migrants” away? I thought that the police do not take orders from the government. Also why does it take this Liberal administration so long to take any obvious action? Everything they have done has been done reluctantly and only under severe pressure from the normal people of this country. Its like they want to cause as much damage as possible. I’ll stop the rant here. I could go on for hours!

  7. I believe I have actually reasoned out the reason for the massive lockdown freakout.

    It is because Canada’s health system IS going to fail, and they know it. They know they cannot prevent it.

    The great fear, is that government run systems will collapse, but that the US style healthcare system will fail to. The stark contrast that this will highlight, must be preemptively dismissed.

    After the collapse of the healthcare system, they want to be out in front enough to stop everyone from listening to anyone who wants to scale back government.

    The Great Kung Flu Panic of 2020, is about shifting the blame away from the policy/management failures of your moral and intellectual superiors, before the blaming starts.

The only important exceptions will be South Korea and Taiwan, and that is because the South Koreans and Taiwanese are on a permanent war footing and know a Red Chinese/north Korean manoeuvre when they see one. They managed to test everyone because they’ve been preparing for a germ warfare attack for a long time.

        1. The US is a big place. The Democrat-controlled states are locking down (CA, NY and IL) because they know their hospitals cannot cope and it’s not a matter of if their ghettos and barrios will explode when mama and abuela start to die in agony, but when.

          In Trump country, where people look after themselves and live far apart, all will be well. The only quarantine measures necessary may be roadblocks at interstate exits closing local roads to all but local traffic. City folk keep moving, we don’t want the Chinese virus.

    2. Fun fact.
      The government doesn’t run the system, they only have a monopoly on payment.
      Because they limit payout, the front line has no real discretion on delivery.
      They have to clear everything with the central bureaucracy first and everyone is extremely risk aversive to expanding service on a limited budget.
      You spend on sanitation you have to give up on some procedures.
      If the government took over the supply of health delivery it would go into a state of paralysis waiting for someone to take responsibility for delivering anything.
      Sort of like what happened over those rail blockades.

    Since they just arrived at JFK, they had zero desire of receiving asylum in the US. We know this with certainty because had they wanted asylum in the US, they would have made the claim at JFK instead of immediately heading to Canada.

    2. Justin Ling is a “freelance journalist” who is most often seen in the Globe & Mail, and just rarely in the National Post. It took him two months before he thought there was anything wrong with the Liberals’ handling of SNC-Lavalin. He is a tool.

Thanks to the grounding of most of the United States’ passenger air fleet, surely now would be the opportunity of a lifetime to stuff as many bogus asylum seekers as will fit in the grounded passenger planes and return them to sender—even, or especially, if they’re visibly ill and might be a drain on health care resources.

Lots of journalists at the CBC and other government owned media operations like National Post, Tor Star, macleans etc. You have to remember that the definition of journalist has changed to reflect modern times. It used to mean someone with integrity reporting and researching facts and news. Now “journalist” = “whore that licks the boots of their government johns as they create propaganda to fleece the citizenry”. Pretty sure it’s been changed in Websters. 😉
