Spare A Thought For The Perpetually Agonised

It occurs to me that when the reviewer of a children’s cartoon is whining at length about a lack of discernibly gay pet-owning couples and the oppressive “heteronormativity” of a character choosing to get married and have a child – an act that is “conservative” and therefore bad, apparently – then the problem isn’t the film.

  1. Jeez these perverts are really freaking annoying. They need to get a life and stay out of everyone else’s.

    1. I will NEVER “normalize” deviancy … sorry … my logically-wired, highly-evolved, heteronormative human brain prevents me from such stupidity. The Geysteppo can go blow themselves! … oh wait … that was supposed to be an insult, not a “Grindr hook-up”

      1. The “geystappo” . Damn Kenj..!
like that one. Gonna use it pour certaine’
…and yea, I’ve never hear that one.

  2. It occurs to me as I read this, that this is part of the “death by a thousand cuts” routine. Every day we have another little cut and something to chip away at our beliefs and standards.

I’ve come to the conclusion that we can blame “Hollywood” for all the things that are wrong. We (collectively) have been brain washed for over a century by the Hollywood lifestyle and it’s slowly rotted our brains.

I’m not anti-American, but I’m sure you’ve noticed that all this idiocy starts in the U.S.

I believe that our society has peaked and that we’re on the downhill slope. We’re doomed. It might not happen in the next few years, but I’m certainly glad I won’t be around by mid-century.

I apologize to you all for being such a doomsday-sayer.

    1. I agree Mike. Sometimes it is not a good thing mentally to read the history of past civilizations and societies. I’m old and will be gone soon, but my children and grandchildren will have to suffer…probably like my grandparents did.

Plato knew what he was talking about.

    2. Well, the current thinking, if you can call it thinking, is the IQ of the average north American has been slipping for decades. Yes it is true we are getting dumber.

    3. It may well have…but I am gonna put at least 50% of the rotten blame on PUblic Service UNIONS….trough Feeding parasites with political power.

That shite started in the mid ’60’s
Strangley enough right around that time our Corrupt BumFk Corporation (CBC), started their decades long campaign of Social Deviance Engineering.

  3. I think I have found the root cause of the critics emotional trama.
He is in a paradox from the belief that his mother should have had the right to abort him while still in the womb, but then he wouldn’t be here to say why she should have.
Oh and its Trump, Bush, Cheney, er the Russians something something.

  4. I’m going to take a wild guess here and say the reviewer in question is a kiddie diddler… Perpetually aggrieved idiots clamoring for gayness in children’s movies always turn out to be kiddie diddlers

  5. What is a gay person supposed to look like? If I was a TV/movie producer, I would claim that all my characters are gay. Isn’t characterizing people by mannerism or appearance sexist?

  6. An animated movie about pets, huh.
What would mollify a gay critic – a scene where a poodle dry-humps a borderline collie?

  7. 30 yr od guy whatching Childrens Cartoons….? is an issue unto itself, let alone fretting that anyone who gets married and has kids is obviously Conservative..??

Put this creature in a cell, lock the door and do NOT EVER FEED it.
Now I know what happened whem the Mental Istitutions were quietly dissappeared….

  8. It only seems to be women and effeminate men who have the time and resources to obsess over sex this much. Normal men are too busy keeping civilization ticking over to even have much sex.

It is written that in heaven the souls of the saints are like angels and there is no sex at all. I can’t wait, honestly.

  9. To “para-quote” the late Sophie Tucker:

“Fuck ’em if they can’t take a joke”.
