  1. Listen to the video carefully. Now it’s 900,000 jobs, not a mere 9000?
Damn, this buffoon is beyond stupid.

    1. His IQ would have to increase by a factor of 10 in order to attain even the lowest level of stupid.

Of course this is still higher than those who voted for, and continue to support, him.

    2. He’s taking credit for all the jobs that were created in Canada over the last three years.

    3. The canola seed debacle (with China) has led to 250,000 job losses. When you add all this stuff up, it’s like we lost 40 million jobs.

    4. rob,the Liberals claim there have been 900,000 jobs created in Canada in the period since they were elected.

Trudeau just bafflegabbed his way around another question, again showing his contempt for Canadians. The SNC/jobs claim has been thoroughly debunked even at CBC, yet he falls back on it once again.

We MUST get this sonofabitch OUT of the PM’s Office this October, even if it means voting for a candidate we can’t cheer for. And to all firearms owners: DO NOT forget that Blair promises to bring in his new firearms legislation AFTER they win the next election, and it is going to be very much the type of legislation favored by the UN.

On farcebook the other day someone posted a photo-shop of Trudeau standing in front of a burning house doing a photo-op with two firemen. Facebook blocked it from being shared as “this link violates our community standards”. We are not allowed to mock Trudeau on social media anymore.

Another term of Trudeau government will see a big jump in totalitarianism as he clamps down more on this country’s freedoms.

  2. The judge in the case still has final say.
The DPA legislation only allows the AG to apply to the judge, but does not take away their power to make a ruling.
There is also the poison pill in that legislation that clears all onus from the DPP by having the AG take over the prosecution of the case.
If the judge turns down the request, the AG is forced to actually prosecute and if its deemed they are throwing the case it can cause them heartache with the bar.
Its not a get out of prosecution agreement, its an apply to the judge and see if they qualify.
And correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t the court already rule that they are ineligible?
    Another fun fact.
This morning there is a story about some illegal donations to the LPC from SNC from all places the CBC.

    https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/snc-lavalin-liberal-donors-list-canada-elections-1.5114537

So I concur that team Sockmonkey wants SNC to get a DPA, but they are going to get egg on the face when they try.
They would have to have a leader that was dumb as a bag of hammers if they ….. oh wait.

    1. HA HA! This comment is hilarious! Here is some random guy, thinking that a Liberal appointed judge, or the Liberal appointed AG, or the Liberal staffed and supporting BAR, is going to even blink!

HA HA HA HAR HA HA HA HAHAA

All those lawyers on the bar? Um, yeah, they are eventually going to want, go looking for, some “comfy fur”.

      1. Normally I would agree.
        But this case is different.
Team Sockmonkey made the error of trying to tell the judiciary how to do their job.
        He crossed the line.
And I’ll point back to the part about the judge on the case already ruling they don’t qualify.
Team Sockmonkey would have to be foolish to publicly declare (required by the legislation) that they are going to apply for the DPA when the judge has already said no.

    2. Doesn’t the linked article illustrate how Elections Canada interferes with elections?
When liberal candidates are the beneficiaries of illegal donations the matter is dealt with in secret.
When a conservative candidate is on the receiving end of illegal donations they create a public spectacle.

      1. elections Canada is a wholly owned subsidiary of the liberal party . It was established b the liberal party to ensure successive liberal governments.

      2. “THe Liberal party fosters and nurtures a culture of corruption”… Judge Gomery… They sure do, and with the exception of around 32% of the voting public, no one gives a shit… I’ve always said and I know most here would agree that EC is another part of the LIberal Party, corrupt to the core. Elections Canada has a rule, when Liberals are caught or accused of malfeasance and corruption during, after and inbetween elections look the other way and state clearly, “EC is NOT an investigatory agency, when a Con is accused of similar mis deeds whether real or imagined then EC performs a raid on Conservative Headquarters or has Del Mastro paraded before the Media in leg irons… Liberals do as they please and EC is part of the LIberal Party corruption swamp… so are judges who are chosen for the position from the ranks of Liberal Party donor lists… fostering and nurturing a culture of corruption.

      3. Nick: Sort of reminds of the Democrats creating a public spectacle at everything that Trump & the Republicans do or say.
VOTE OUT THE LIE-BRALS IN 2019…VOTE OUT TRUDEAU IN 2019!! MAKE CANADA GREAT AGAIN!!!!

    3. Except, as rumoured, if they do grant SNC-Lavalin a DPA, they won’t be “following the law.”

There is substantial likelihood of conviction, little evidence that the company changed its corrupt culture and procedures to ensure no continuation of their illegal behaviour, so all that’s left is “national economic interest,” ie jobs, which of course is a bogus claim all round; also, it’s not a criterion to be used for granting DPA and SNC-Lavalin get a fail everywhere else.

“But what about the 9,000 Canadian jobs that are said to be at risk? Well, that is the darnedest thing: Even though the new legislation states that one of the purposes of a DPA is to reduce negative consequences for innocent individuals – such as employees who were not involved in the wrongdoing – the legislation explicitly prohibits the prosecutor from considering Canada’s “national economic interest” as a factor when deciding whether to offer a DPA in foreign bribery cases. British courts have gone so far as to say that the national economic interest is “irrelevant” in deciding whether to grant a DPA under its own legislative regime. And, on Monday, the OECD issued a press release on the SNC-Lavalin case, cautioning that a country’s national economic interest must not influence foreign bribery prosecutions.”

In short, notwithstanding the continuing and incessant mantra that a DPA for SNC-Lavalin might save Canadian jobs, the inconvenient truth is that neither the prosecutor nor the attorney-general can even consider the issue of potential job losses when making its decision.”

In case that’s what Trudeau meant, which we should know he did. So that argument is out the window too, pardon the pun.

      https://www.theglobeandmail.com/opinion/article-the-inconvenient-reality-economic-interest-has-nothing-to-do-with-snc/

  3. I have said it before, I will say it again; I have no problem with Trudeau, the problem never has been, and never will be Trudeau. The problem is all the people who are going to push him to his second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, … 89th majority.

Canada will never stop voting Liberal.

    STOP BEING CANADIAN.

The only way for the west, is out.

  4. The biggest problem with the DPA is it legalizes criminality and therefore incentivizes corruption.

I’m waiting for the media to state the obvious, but I won’t hold my breath.

    1. Again: RULE OF LAW DOES NOT EXIST IN POST NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS.

It is getting tiresome dealing with deluded people who think it’s still a “thing”.

      1. I concur with what you said.
        However.
Team Sockmonkey thrives on public opinion, trying to get a DPA for SNC while doing everything to shut down the oil patch does not equate to a popular perception.
The first hurdle is that to do this they have to make it public. After all the previous testimony doing so won’t pass the smell test for anyone but a paid liberal staffer (its a job requirement).
After all the air time devoted to airing each titillating detail there are entire departments at news organizations devoted to feeding this story.
So in spite of the bias of the lawyers, they would only try this if they can do so behind a wall of confidentiality, which they can’t.
The DPP won’t release the case to them until they do.
Its why JWR got cold feet, she knew she would be left holding the bag if things went wrong.
So yes, I get the lawyers being liberal friends and all. But the operative is ideological they are not beholden to the current cult of the Sockmonkey.

      2. well now kevin, it also gets tiring listen to an over the top a$$hole like you some time, and I’m not even disagreeing with your basic premise.

  5. The DPA for SNC-Lavalin will be revealed/discovered late on the Friday of a long weekend such as Victoria Day, Canada Day or Labour Day. It will be revealed/discovered but NOT “announced” so the Liberal Party can (falsely) claim “We knew nothing about that; we had nothing to do with it. The totally 100% independent judge made that decision, and we’re forced to accept it.”

Watch and learn …this is how it will happen.

    1. It has recently been exposed that after the ouster of JWR the Liberal Party has now decided that all new appointees to the bench will be chosen from a Liberal Party donor list… yep, “Judges” that have donated to the LIberal Party will be the only Judges considered… and some people think this country should continue. The degradation of this nation is quite the spectacle. Just witnessed a couple of corporate Media assholes over at CTV (smilin Don Martin and Bob the Fife) having a good old laugh about this latest Liberal Party corruption revelation… not sure why the Media laways finds Liberal corruption so darn funny, I guess their bosses tell them to laugh it up, or their psychotic… probably both.

  6. How does Trudeau’s protection of Quebec corruption protect any actual jobs?
If SNC can’t bid on government contracts then some other contractor will win the bid.
    Same number of jobs.
Or has Trudeau and SNC already rigged all the bids?

As usual the media doorknobs are too stupid and too busy fluffing him to ask him to explain that.

    1. Actually the Liberal government could grant exemptions to SNC so that they could bid on government contracts. I believe they have already done so for a previous SNC transgression.

  7. After this, the Liberals could run Howdy Doody for PM and Canadian’s would elect them. Trudeau has set the bar so low.

    1. When Turdhole decides he doesn’t want to be the King of the First Post National State anymore he should prance right over to the nearest CBC outlet take a dump on Rosemary Bartons desk stick a rose in the shit pile call it Turdy Mc Turdhole Trudeau and run the turd in the next election, repeat this maneuver every 4 years. This would assure the Turdhole Party continued majority Governments until the country’s inevitable collapse. You’d also have to make sure that big Rosemary didn’t eat the turd pile. The Liberal Party slogan could be, “Vote Liberal, same shit different pile”… assured Turdholemania for decades.

  8. Say what you want about a DPA.

The moment that bit ran on the Simpsons changed a perception for those that never pay attention to politics.
He is now officially a punch line to those that pay attention to American media.
    He wasn’t portrayed as serious.
He was portrayed as insincere, self centered and evasive.
From a source the LIV perceives as reality.

  9. Nothing will come of this. The Laurentian Elite take care of their own. It is one big incestuous family there in Ottawa and the media runs cover.

I agree with Kevin, it is time for the west to leave. If only we could accomplish that somehow.

  10. In 2008 Elections Canada had the RCMP raid the conservative party headquarters on a fishing expedition. No only did they not keep it secret, they tipped off the CBC to be there for the raid. The Public Service is dirty in this country and needs a thorough cleansing, which unfortunately is pretty much impossible. Getting rid of that criminal from the Privy Council was a rare victory.

  11. Mmmmmm … French fries in greasy curdy gravy … mmmm mmmmm aarrrrgghhhh mmmmmm!

So THATS how Canadians survive the beastly winters …

  12. SNC-Lavalin has 52,435 employees world-wide, with 8,762 in Canada.

“We are SNC-Lavalin, and we are experts at mastering complexity.”

    1. Steve from Rockwood: The 8,762 employees in Canada have other jobs but also work for SNC, so it isn’t that these people are out of work. So Sock Puppet is telling lies once again!! I’d like to know where SNC gets the money when bidding on jobs to bribe officials…right I forgot their bids are usually much higher than others, so they get bribed with there own money….pay off time! FOLLOW THE MONEY…VOTE OUT THE LIE-BRALS IN 2019! VOTE OUT TRUDEAU IN 2019!! MAKE CANADA GREAT AGAIN GET RID OF THE STINK!!!

  13. When you are the Butt of a skit on The Simpson’s. You’ve passed your best before date. Expiry date: Oct. 21

  14. re: the simpsons.

aka art imitating life imitating art.
or is it life imitating art imitating life?
with TURD 2.0 it gets so moooshed they both come out the same.
the utterly, definitively WORST pm we have had in 150+ years and *ever will have*.

  15. The swamp is positively clean as compared to the Liberals.
The Liberals are into something like pigs wallow.
The airhead can’t come up with anything other demagoguery that he so much studied from the script supplied by his handlers.
And again, there are majority of those that seem to think that he is the smartest man in the room and will vote for him and the other fellow travellers.

Apparently money is no object, the rich socialist pigs have endless supply. When you think of it, it is a mutual admiration society and a case of: you give me, I give you, if you give me more.

Liberal fascism never looked so good.

    This guy summed it up:

    Jamie Mask
    @jmask
    Replying to
    @GerryRitzxMPand @reicurran
We have the best government money can buy.

  16. Anybody else notice at 1:04 he caught himself saying “internal disagreements in the party…in the government”?

For the Libranos, the Party is the government. They hate democracy.

  17. When Obama’s team came North to help elect Trudeau who knew we would get the same corruption as down South?
Weaponizing governmental departments against it’s citizens and opposition parties, illegal donations, graft and election interference. Dividing the people of the country, choking off investment and business development. Endless reams of regulations killing any interest in growth. Rule of Law, gone, unless you’re not Liberal. Massive deficits, cratering debt, and an emperor with no brains.

  18. Rule of Law?
    Whats that in Canada?
Was watching our future on CBC, Venezuela or bust.
On topic,In the video the faces behind the petulant pipsqueak are most entertaining. Given these are people chosen for their wilful blindness, being Liberal supporters, their facial contortions are priceless.
I feel a slight hope for confederation, if these fools are capable of cringing, maybe they are capable of Not Voting Retard..
Yeah Right, who am I kidding?
Time to start beating on Kenney.
Independence from the Eastern Parasites is the only financial hope,of a future for our children.
Or rather a prosperous future with the freedom to enjoy life, versus servitude to the debt masters who Canada has sold itself to.
Debt is treason, selling unborn children into slavery is treachery most foul.

  19. Where is the outrage from the Council of Canadians? Maybe they are not so interested in the health of our democracy after all.

    1. The pompously-named “Council of Canadians” is just a group of virtue-signalling reflexive leftists who don’t have a clue about how democracy works, or a healthy economy for that matter.

  20. Whether it’s unemployment in Alberta, the effects of his carbon tax, cronyism, corruption, obstructing justice, buying off the press, or callously using disasters as blatant photo-ops, there is one slogan that begs endless repetition:

It’s pretty obvious. Justin and his Liberals just don’t care.

  21. “Alright, when will the riots against this banana republic begin?
Where are those crickets coming from?”

It’s not really crickets you’re hearing. If you listen really carefully you’ll hear shivering and shaking.

The Ivory Tower Trash like tudo la doo, and Morno, and the SNCs, and the Bombardiers, and the Westons, etc, etc….they all hear it to too. But they interpret it accurately or what it is: submissiveness and cowardice. And that empowers them.

  22. Terrence Corcoran has actually made the case quite persuasively that SNC should get a DPA. Really why not? The law they broke shouldn’t even exist.

    1. Terence lives in a world that few know exist; sometimes he has wise words of wisdom, sometimes not. On SNC, he has missed the point entirely, because he has not seen what and who SNC is/was. They are a corrupt, useless, awful excuse for a engineering firm that would say anything their hire wanted to (like all their dealings with landfill sites a cross the country). Terence thinks they behaved liked normal firms, but they did not. They are the most useless bunch of connivers and sell-outs one can imagine.

  23. This doesn’t seem to jive with what’s posted here: https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/snc-lavalin-liberal-donors-list-canada-elections-1.5114537

“Names of SNC employees, executives behind thousands of dollars in illegal Liberal Party donations revealed

Former attorney general of Quebec denies involvement in scheme that broke Canadian election law
Harvey Cashore, Frédéric Zalac · CBC News · Posted: Apr 30, 2019 4:00 AM ET ”

A recent adverse report by the See Bee See. Any comments? I know, I took a shower after….because.

    1. When the CBC starts driving nails into the coffin you can rest assured that the Liberal party is truly dead. It is now up to the voters to put the final stake through the heart to make sure these NAZIS in clown suits never, never rise again!

  24. “It’s all about the jobs. Prime Minister, particulalry YOUR job”.
