  1. Ontario PC Party leadership candidate Doug Ford made it clear Saturday night he intends to stake out the same populist ground that won the Toronto mayor’s chair for his brother Rob in 2010.
    He assured the crowd — to hoots and hollers — he will not introduce carbon tax, a plank in former leader Patrick Brown’s “People’s Guarantee” policy platform released last November.
    “That is a bad tax,” he said. “If the prime minister wants to make us (put the tax in place), I will say ‘Just watch me.’”

    With Monday’s steep fall, Trump has now presided over the biggest stock market drop in U.S. history, when measured by points in the Dow Jones industrial average. The free fall began in earnest Jan. 30 and then snowballed Friday and Monday, for a combined loss of almost 2,100 points, or 8 percent of its value.
    Trump used to ridicule the stock market before taking office, saying in September 2016 that recent gains in the market were the result of a “big, fat, ugly bubble” that would pop once interest rates increased.

  13. Be aware and be wary, I think our PM is going to obliterate all references to anything male. He stated “we like to say “peoplekind” as opposed to mankind, it’s more inclusive. That means no brotherhood of man.Not sure how he will neutralize that one, peoplehood of peoplekind?
    It’s one thing for a male to declare himself a feminist but this fool/idiot we call Prime Minister seems to have a problem with the male species of the human race, also known as mankind.
