Great Video Explanation – “Operation Trump” – Former Federal Prosecutor Outlines Scope of FBI and DOJ Corruption…
This is a 30 min clip by Former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova, that recaps the “big Ugly” that is the DOJ/FBI mess we are currently witnessing.
It’s concise and not only connects the dots re the FISA warrants but also explains the problem with Mueller in his investigative capacity as per involvement with Uranium one via his relationship with Comey.

  2. Very, very good. I have seen Joe once or twice on Stuart Varney’s show And I LOVE the passion and determination in his voice. He is a take-no-prisoners ex Federal Prosecutor. He clearly sees the Laws that have been broken, which MUST be prosecuted. I want the entire Obama-Clinton Cartel and their footsoldiers at the FBI and DOJ to go-away … penniless … stripped of any pensions and pay given to them by the taxpayers while they systematically destroyed the constitutional rights of countless citizens. And long federal prison sentences in a MAXIMUM security institution

  4. Seven Conservative MPs are facing nomination challenges for the 2019 election, but there is widespread speculation the party’s leadership is behind at least some of those challenges, which the party strongly denies.
    http://www.hilltimes.com/2018/01/22/seven-conservative-mps-facing-divisive-nomination-challenges-party-abound-speculation-leadership-behind-least-challengers/131486
It seems to me that the effort to get rid of the last Reformer thinking MPs is under way and turn the party back into a Joe Clark type Liberal-lite Progressive Conservative Party. At least three or four of those being challenged have run afoul of the progressive agenda. Gallant opposed the Paris Accord which Scheer rammed down the MP’s throats. Kellie Leitch was very non PC in her leadership run. Bernier was too much freedom orientated.

  7. Ken;
I would suggest the shift of the CPC towards the progressive side started with Harper, almost 10 years ago. The conservative movement does not have an articulate expression of their philosophy, at least at the street level.
At my constituency level there is no engagement of the membership other than to ask for money.
This was a Reform stronghold from the time we started the Reform Party here. We topped out at +1650 members and now I believe that number is less than 500.
The CPC is back to the top down admin that existed prior to Reform. The Party is living off the ‘contacts’ that Reform built over 15 years. It is now ‘vote for me’ because I am more empathetic, more in touch, whatever BS sells. There is no championing of financial literacy, which in itself, would do more to promote the conservative agenda. Not happening. It absolutely plays to the strength of fiscal conservatism and could be done on a local level. The fact that it is not tells me a lot about the core of the CPC party.

  8. It would be a shame if the Party were behind these challenges. That is the type of stunt the Liberals commonly pull. Hopefully the Conservatives are above this type of thing.

  9. Well, Conservatives are very good at defeating themselves, this is an area where that could happen.

  10. If the party leadership is indeed behind it, we’ll be stuck with the Liberals for the next generation. Remember that it was some 25 years between Clarke and Harper.

“Our clouds take their orders from the stars,” says the Danish scientist Henrik Svensmark. That’s the amazing and provocative discovery reported here.
Most experts thought the idea was crazy. The film records ten years of effort by the small team in Copenhagen that, in the end, solved the mystery of how the Galaxy and the Sun interfere in our everyday weather.
It’s provocative because Dr Svensmark’s revelations challenge the belief of most climate theorists that carbon dioxide has been the main driver of global warming. As a result he has faced never-ending opposition.”

  12. It seems to be a tradition for Conservatives to do that, going back to the Night of the Long Knives in 1967. Diefenbaker was shown the door and he was succeed by Stanfield. Stanfield didn’t make much headway against Prince Pixie Dust’s father and was replaced by Clarke. The party turned on Joe Who and inflicted Mulroney upon itself. Lyin’ Bryan bailed out to save his miserable hide and Kim! took over, and it was while she was PM that the old CPC was wiped out.
We all know what happened to the party after that.

  13. The party could be behind one or two of these challenges but I doubt it backs all 7. A more likely explanation is the incumbent has run afoul of the riding association. This is not uncommon. Politics at the local level can be vicious.

  14. Cheryl Gallant is being challenged for the first time in a riding that is strongly Conservative both federally and provincially. She and her provincial counterpart, John Yakabuski win by large margins.
We need to be concerned if that changes, it will not be good for Conservatism.

  15. These things are not good. As a former party apparatcik I’ve seen a few of these.
They are not unlike a religious schism.
Most likely the incumbent has an enemy or two on the riding board and some ambitious back stabbed is in the wings.

  17. The eastern division of the CPC has been gnashing their teeth since Harper took over, waiting for the day the Ontario branch can again become dominant and get things in Ottawa back to normal.
We will have a choice in the next election: Liberal,Liberal-Lite, NDP,and Green.
As to the CPC being “above that”,that’s one of the big problems with the Party, too many Diefenbaker era Conservatives don’t see that the paradigm has changed, in society and in their Party. The CPC has shaken off it’s Reform branch like a wet dog,and will continue to segue backwards to the future, where MP’s in Ottawa ALL serve their Eastern masters, with the occasional crumbs thrown to the West.
If it isn’t obvious by now that the West needs to at least form it’s own Block, just like the Quebec bunch, and lobby like hell for autonomy,it never will be. Western separation would be better but Canadians are too nervous to accept any type of serious change,”would we still get CBC News if the West separated”? Slovakia we ain’t.
Scheer is a child of the Eastern establishment, born, raised and educated in Ottawa, and undoubtedly, like Chretien, much more comfortable talking to easterners. If we elect Scheer, we’ll get another PM in place to pander to the Laurentian Elite, with possibly better fiscal accountability, but most Liberal policies kept in place.
I’ll vote for him just to see and end to that smug sonofabitch currently in the PM’s Office, but with little enthusiasm.

Shot and screened in 1916, The Battle of the Somme was the first feature length documentary about war.
In the first three months of its release the film was seen by around 20 million people in Britain and Ireland, informing and challenging the public with its images of warfare, and changing the way both cinema and film was perceived.”
“The Battle of the Somme was filmed on the front line at great personal danger to the cameramen, and offered audiences a unique, almost tangible link to their family members on the battlefront. Contemporary reactions to the film varied greatly; some members of the public thought the scenes of the dead were disrespectful or voyeuristic.
There was debate in the newspapers and at least one cinema manager refused to show it. But most people believed it was their duty to see the film and experience the ‘reality’ of warfare.”

Progressives Destroyed The Word For “Progresssive Conservatives”
“Whether in Canada or the U.S., we are seeing a political revolution that has, unfortunately, defiled and debased what it means to be a “Progressive Conservative”(PC).
Think about that. Progressivism is usually described as forward looking and a way to affect positive social change. Yet, on campuses across North American, students quake at the very idea of listening to a conservative speaker.”

“All of them come because of Russell Kirk’s writing, for without Kirk’s books, The Conservative Mind in particular (published in 1953 at a time when Richard Brookhiser says “the very title seemed a paradox”), the conservative movement of the 1980s might have been considerably different.
Without Kirk, Ronald Reagan might have remained a New Deal liberal, instead of commending Kirk in 1981 for “helping to renew a generation’s interest and knowledge of these ‘true ideas,’ these ‘permanent things,’ which are the underpinnings and the intellectual infrastructure of the conservative revival in our nation.”
Kirk has advised Reagan and four other presidents; he’s been given a Fulbright Lectureship, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and a Constitutional Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities. In 1981, a dinner was held in Washington to honor Kirk, and several hundred conservative guests attended, listening to commendations from governmental, academic, and public dignitaries, among them William F. Buckley, Jr. (who asked Russell years ago when he first visited Mecosta, who he found to talk to in such an out of the way place; only to see Kirk turn toward his ten thousand books and smile).”
