I’m not doubting Conrad’s admiration for Donald, however, I can’t help but wonder if he’s secretly hoping that the President (and long time Palm Beach neighbor) pardons him which would allow him to return to the US and to his beautiful Palm Beach home so that he may resume his life amongst the pretty people.

  6. There is about to be a reconning over the UN nonsense.
    Our “special envoy” aka liberal hack on a photo op Bob Rae has released his report on the “crisis” of the Rohinga (sp?). Big surprise the report recommends that the world steps up to the plate. Meaning they want the UN to create a special body that the membership needs to get on board (and fund) to help…and of to “think of the children”.
    So as per the usual MO the UN will expect the US to step up to the plate.
    Now due to our non vote yesterday the US can respond that if Canada is tabling a motion at the UN they will be abstaining.
    Of course this won’t preclude the US from taking action, just not through the UN.
    They where warned.

    Undismayed, he has ripped open the facade of the Justice Department and the FBI and exposed morally corrupt hacks within, while heaping praise on the FBI rank and file.
    I have now witnessed this (previously thought to be) imperfect vehicle of American discontent … emerge as a political … there’s no other word for it … GENIUS. MY President has not just weathered every storm blown at him … 19 women lining up behind Gloria Allred … The Billy-somebody tape … the DNC … the RNC … HER dirty tricks … the entire frickking media (save for the “Alt. Right Press”) … ex wives … ex beauty contestants … ex employees … ex Reality Show contestants … ex post facto EVERYTHING … he has used the gale force winds set against him to propel his ship of State even faster and further. He has tacked into the wind with great tact and the skill of an America’s Cup Captain.
    I give up. I was WRONG. I mocked the Trump “brand” as schmaltzy and unnecessary. No, I would never pay tuition at Trump University. However … NOW … I believe I was shortsighted. I looked at the facade of Trump Tower and saw banality. I need to refocus my lens … perhaps there is something so understated and timeless in the facade that I completely missed it. That it simply “works”. It’s beauty is in its simplicity.
    If there’s one thing I know about America … it’s that we LOVE WINNERS. Look at HER polling numbers. SHE is yesterday’s news. And her pathetic, endlessly whiney book tour just made it WORSE. Despite a couple generations of “participant” trophy “winners” … Americans KNOW the score … and the Democraps are LOSERS … still LOSING. The midterms look bright, despite the “early” polling *snicker* results. And 2020 looks even brighter!

    The latest signal of Trump’s GENIUS came just moments after it was apparent that the Tax Reform package was going to be passed in Congress … even before the final votes were taken … multiple Corporations announced a litinay of bonuses and benefits they were issuing to their employees as a result of the Corporate Tax Law changes. This GOOD NEWS came out of nowhere. Not a single media outlet investigated this possible outcome of the Trump Tax Plan … it seemingly came out of nowhere. And once again, the media’s refusal to report anything positive about Trump has blown up in their face … as Trump claims TOTAL VICTORY over the naysayers … and the American people join him in WINNING!!!

    The lack of action on this subject from PMSH was, I feel, the reason for Black’s dopey support for JT in our last election. Black has yet to discuss his support for JT in an honest, forthright manner.

I totally agree with Kenji…I have been saying from day 1 of the Trump Presidency that what we have witnessed was pure genius…whether you like him or not, it has to be recognized that his election was genius. And this year, despite everything, he has won and the US is booming. The complete opposite of the dire predictions have happened under his leadership and the people who smeared and accused and convicted him of committing vile acts are now being exposed as the criminals themselves, complete hypocrites.
    Wow! When he vowed to drain the swamp, little did we know that it reached the top of the DOJ and FBI. It is now all being exposed. When some of my friends, Trump haters, predict that he will end up being impeached, I ask them for what? He was not the one colluding with the Russians, the Democrats were caught red handed. He was not the one who rigged the nomination, the Democrats were caught. Are they going to look at his finances going back decades to see if there was any Russian money? Is that a crime anyway? We don’t know whether he had business dealings with the Russians but we do know for a fact that the Clintons and the Democrats had pay for play dealings with the Russians. Everything that they try to throw at him to impeach bounces off of him and sticks right on the Democrats.
    We will be reading about the next few years in the history books at how an unserious ‘buffoon’ beat the inevitable unbeatable candidate and the insane year that followed in which the left could not accept the results and tried to mount a soft coup that failed.

  12. The article does not quite do justice the title of the article. It provides a good summary of the failures of Mr. Trump’s enemies. Yet, it does not provide a complete list of his successes. It seems to leave the foreign policy issues out.
    Under Obama, we were left with the idea that we might have to share the earth with ISIS. Most thoughtful people knew that ISIS could be beaten, but who thought it could be almost wiped out in less than one year? One could argue that this is actually General Mattis’ victory – agreed, but Trump gets the credit for choosing the General as SecDef and then leaving him alone.
    It is not yet clear whether Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman wants to have an alliance with Israel or not, but surely it is becoming obvious that MbS sees Iran as a bigger problem than he sees Israel. How far MbS wants to pursue this possible new relation with Israel remains to be seen and how much credit should go to Mr. Trump and Jared Kushner also remains to be seen; either way the show is shaping up to be interesting.
    The recognition that Israel, like any other country in the world, is allowed to choose where its capital resides will affect that situation for a time that will outlast Mr. Trump’s presidency – two term or not.
    The withdrawal from the Paris Climate Accord also will have ramifications that will outlast his presidency.

  13. Good article. But I would be shocked, dumbfounded, flabbergasted, if any Canadian politician took any lesson whatsoever from what Trump has accomplished. Even more astounding, would be if any Canadians actually wanted any of it.

    I’m not so cynical … it only takes ONE province … one SUCCESSFUL province to take-up the Trump force field dynamics and all of Canada will roll, except Quebec.

    Mad Maxime may have been the only one I could see doing it. But, they picked Scheer instead.
    Scheer seems much closer to the electoral juggernauts of nice guys like Mitt Romney.

    After he was convicted and imprisoned in the US he came cap in hand looking for a favor to come back to Canada.

  21. Yes, Trudeau’s stupidity coupled with his narcissism has hurt Canada. Badly. He is, without a doubt, the worst prime minister that I have ever witnessed and I have seen more than a few. He should be a one term disaster and that’s it. However, the pessimistic side of me can only see hordes of low information voters shuffling off to the polls to give the fool another term. Imbeciles who know nothing about the economy and are quite content to remain ignorant. Imbeciles who get their daily dose of current events courtesy of the CBC and only from the CBC. Imbeciles who couldn’t tell you how many provinces make up this country. Imbeciles who hated Stephen Harper simply because the media said he was mean. Unfortunately for this country, a modicum of intelligence is not a qualifying factor for casting a ballot.

    It requires understanding how polling is done… The 1990’s MSM technology experts have sampled the most populated States… NY, California & NJ…. Given that these States are Democratic strong-holds would suggest that some methodology is required to get accurate National results .. The “Sample” over the years has trended to committed hard core Democrats and the results don’t change regardless of the issue…The manipulations have a predetermined result… FAKE
    The only poll that correctly predicted Trump was conducted by U of California. They created a known Sample of
    Democrats, Republican and Independents… The results of the continued polling tracked the CHANGE of the polling samples…Democrats were changing their Vote more than Republicans & Independents were trending Trump….
    If the MSM polls have Trump @ 40% (California, NY, NJ) that probably means he is @ 65% Nationally.. It is time to update their methodology, or admit they are flawed…
    Fox should hire Black as a guest expert. He frames the issues nice & neatly accurate

  24. Black is a goof beyond parody. Does anyone actually take this guy seriously? His writing on Turmp would embarrass Pravda. Trump has accomplished so little that all he can do is claim things that were 1) happening already under Obama or 2) had nothing to do with him.
