Two thoughts immediately jumped into my head … 1) This is such a deadly drug, that it could easily (and effectively) be used as a terrorists weapon. Plus … how is this random Muslim-sounding-named suspect coming up with the tens of millions of dollars it would have taken to purchase this stash? And the 60-so handguns? On the face of it, this is at worst … a terrorist act, and at best … a deadly drug pusher.
The other thought that jumped into my head was the 60 Minutes story broadcast last Sunday about the opioid epidemic in America. And, predictably, 60 Minutes laid the ENTIRE blame for the opioid epidemic and unprecedented opioid overdose death rate on … wait for it … BIG Pharma. Yes, the greedy corporations are turning a blind eye on the “overprescription” of opioids in America … all so they could PROFIT from poor, desperate drug addicts. Well … 60-Minutes did not speak ONE word about carfentanil. Not about how deadly it is … or how easy it is to obtain via the internet. I guess 60-Minutes ONLY wants to go after BIG American (and German) Pharma … not BIG China Pharma. Leftist politics is sick in the head and thoroughly dishonest.
Just think what an intelligent Jihadist could do with that kind of killing power. Please don’t express those thoughts as they could be inspirational.

But assume maybe ~30 micrograms has a 50% chance of killing a 2.5Lb rat.

If 2250 micrograms for a 50% kill rate, or theoretically roughly 222 people per gram. Times 42Kg, your mileage may vary, but bad stuff any way you slice it.
